When you sit down in your seat five minutes before class starts, a white envelope catches your eye. It was lying on your desk. You look around to find no one in the classroom other than Ellie, a blonde with beach waves, green eyes, and light freckles, sitting in the desk next to yours. You pick up the envelope and examine it.

"I believe this is yours?" You hand her the envelope. She looks at you then back down at the envelope.

"No, it's yours. I put it on your desk. Open it," Ellie hands it back to you with a smile.

You do as she says and carefully tear open the envelope, lifting the folded paper out of it. You unfold the paper and read. It read:

You're Invited!
What: The yearly Halloween party!
Where: The Myers' house
When: October 31st, Halloween
Bring: Your own beer (if you plan on drinking any). If you don't bring your own, then you'll have to pay for drinks there.
Don't miss out on this big opportunity! See you there!

You were quite suprised to be invited to the biggest party of the year by a girl you've never spoken to before. Not only that, but this party was going to be held at Michael Myers house. This Halloween party has taken place every year on Halloween at Michael's house for the past 4ish years. Although, Michael never attended, obviously. He has been in the Sanitarium for years and years. According to the news article you read online a few days ago, he escaped. You're assuming he will definitely attend the party this year.

You find yourself, beer in hand, in Michael's living room. Couples were smooching all over the place. Actually, you know what? Half of them probably haven't even met each other before, to be honest. You stumble your way to a kitchen chair and sit down, after about 6-8 beers already. You were dizzy and probably going to puke any time soon. The dining room connects to the living room, so you can perfectly see everyone and everything. You look down at the floor, trying to make the dizziness go away. Screaming.

That is the sound that made you jolt your head up. A man in a navy-blue jumpsuit and a white mask had just slaughtered a couple with his knife. He murdered another and another. Blood splattered all across the walls and people's faces who were somehow still alive. Another corpse smacks the floor.

You snap back into reality. 'Yeah, he will definitely be coming,' you think to yourself.

"Soooo, will you come?" Ellie asks, waving her hand in front of you, trying to catch your attention.

"Oh, uhh, yeah," you smile. "How come you're inviting me?"

"We'll be sitting next to each other for the rest of the year and we still have yet to speak to each other. I figured it was a friendly way to, you know, meet, I guess?" She tilts her head, confusing herself.

She was right. You guys haven't talked at all. In fact, you haven't spoken or even noticed anyone. You were always so caught up in your thoughts and daydreams that you just forgot about everyone. Besides, you could use a friend anyways. Although, her inviting you to basically go get murdered is definitely not a friendly way of meeting.

You guys continue to talk until the bell rings, signalling that school is starting. You guys also exchange phone numbers. You were happy you guys were getting along so well. You thought it felt nice to finally make a friend.

As you walked to your last class of the day, a boy accidentally bumped your notebooks out of your arms, creating traffic in the hallway. You bend down to start picking them up, when a hand starts grabbing them for you. You look up, then stand up straight again. The same boy gives you your notebooks back.

"I'm so sorry," he says with a nervous smile.

You couldn't help but admire his face as he spoke. He had gorgeous brown hair with grey eyes and a very nice jawline. You instantly became attracted to him. He had to have been a junior, a year older than you.

"So, uhh," he put his hand on the back of his head and nervously looked away. "Are you coming to the party in four days?"

He walked you to your next class, trying to make up for the embarrassment he caused you in the hallway. It was October 27, meaning there was only four days until Halloween. You were excited, but anxious. You were quite scared of what could happen on the 31st. Especially living in Michael Myers' home town. On the bright side, the party was being held only across the street and four houses down from your house. So if something did go wrong, home wasn't far.

"Yeah, I'm going," you smiled at him with your contagious smile, making him grin back at you.

He told you he would look for you at the party. This made you happy and excited, but you tried not to show it. The one-minute-bell rings. He says he has to leave to get to class, so you guys say goodbye to one another.

-------------------Author's Note-------------------
This chapter was so difficult because I got bored of it and I didn't really know what to write. I know what is coming up and all, but I didn't know exactly how to continue the story in to get to the upcoming spicy part. I wrote a whole chapter, disliked it, then deleted it all. I almost did the same thing with this. Clearly, I like action.
Stay tuned! It's about to get interesting!
