•Chapter 5•

Michael's POV:

It was the second time I've seen her now. The first time, she stopped at the end of my driveway and gazed at my house. The second time, was just right now.

"Michael, please," she held out her hands like a shield as if I were coming to strangle her. "I am not here to invade or harm your property in any way. I saw those kids try to trespass and I only wanted to scare them away. I-I will go now. I won't come back."

When she said she wouldn't come back, I felt desolated. I wanted her to come back. For some reason, when I see her, she gives me light. She's different. She's different from other teenagers.

Other teenagers come to my house to break my windows, enter my house, or do other dumb shit. They are all so disrespectful. They throw cigarettes on my lawn and I once caught a couple having sex in what used to be Judith's room. That couple met there fate though. They were punished for their disrespect.

But that girl. (Y/N), was her name? She's different. She's done things to benefit me that I didn't think anyone would ever do. She helped me. Who knows what those three kids would have done when they entered my house. But (Y/N) made sure they didn't do anything.

I turned my head when (Y/N) finished speaking. She looked at me, slugged her backpack over her shoulder once more, and quickly walked away.

I wanted to say something so badly.

As she walked away, I watched her. I found that she only lives four houses down from me, across the street. I didn't always have to wait for her to come to me anymore. Now, I could go to her.

Late that night, In your room
Your POV Again:

You sat at your desk in your room, clicking away on your computer. You were searching the web for more information about Michael. You read a news article.

6 YEAR OLD BOY KILLS HIS OLDER SISTER ON HALLOWEEN
On October 31, 1963, 6 year-old, Michael Myers, brutally murders his own sister, Judith Myers, with a butcher knife. He has been taken to and in custody of Smith's Grove Sanitarium.

"6 years old?!" You said in disbelief.

"Wait, how old is he now?" You asked yourself.

You did the math. It is October 26, 1973 and he was born on October 19, 1957 meaning he is now 16 years old. One year older than you.

Your old computer made a "Ba-Ding!" sound. It was a notification. You opened it. It stated that there was a new news article just published on newsreads.come.

MICHAEL MYERS ESCAPED

On October 25, 1973, yesterday, Michael Myers escaped Smith's Grove Sanitarium. After 10 years of spending every day and night in the mental hospital, he is now on the loose and is yet to be found.

This news wasn't very new to you. In fact, you just spoke to Myers himself today. Although, he didn't speak, of course.

Your bedroom window was just above your desk. It was 10:37PM and very dark outside. You gazed at the moon for a moment. As you peered out your window, you saw something.

It appeared to be a figure. A tall figure with a white mask that flashed in the moonlight.

Your heart stopped and you hurried and pulled at the string that shuts your blinds. You ran up the stairs and locked your front door. You decided to quickly look through the peephole. You saw nothing. The figure disappeared. But where to? You don't know.

I didn't plan any of this. My mind kept thinking and my fingers kept typing so I hope this chapter is okay.

So, MaskedObsession pointed out that this story takes place in 1973 and the main character (you) has a MacBook. I never noticed that, so thank you for noticing that. I have fixed it now.
