(Y/N)'s eyes fluttered open, she awoke in an unfamiliar place she definitely wasn't on the desert floor where she passed out, it was warm and relatively soft, her head was resting on the arm of a couch and a thin blanket covered her body. Slowly she sat up, trying not to get a head rush, she scanned the plain looking room and took notice that she was on a couch in the building she had tried to reach before.
"H-hello?" She barely managed to croak out, her throat was so dry, she could hardly talk.
The sound of footsteps and the faint sound of voices could be heard from outside of the room. She didn't care is it was an enemy at this point, if it was hopefully her death would be peaceful.
A man walked into the room, he had longish black hair and...a yellow jacket? Yellow sleeves? (Y/N) couldn't really tell, her sight was still a little blurry from passing out. One thing she did recognise was a big glass of water in his hand.
"Hey there, you had quite the fall before," he spoke softly to her "I'm Fun Ghoul."
"I-I'm (Y/N)" the girl spoke, still a little dazed and confused. Fun Ghoul? Was that some sort of alias? It couldn't be his actual name, that would be ridiculous. Who would name their child that? "Where-"
"Here, before anything also you should probably drink this," he held out the water to her, (Y/N) looked at the water suspiciously. Was taking a drink from a stranger really the best idea? The man noticed her discomfort and chuckled, "Don't worry, it's not poisoned,"
Without further questioning she snatched the glass out of his hands and gulped it down, it felt like heaven in her dry throat. She finished the drink in mere seconds, it was literally the first drink she had in days. She placed the cup in her lap and looked back to the man beside her, he looked sort of amused by her actions, not that he could blame her really, dehydration was a bitch.
"So kid, where you from?" He asked after a few moments of silence, hoping he could get her out of her shell.
"I'm not a kid," she spoke in a mummer and shook her head slightly "and, I'm not too sure where I'm from,"
'Fun Ghoul' was about to ask her what she meant before a loud crash was heard from another room.
"Shit!" He yelled and reached into his pockets pulling out a green gun. "Kid, we're gonna have to move. Now!"
"What's going on?" (Y/N)'S heart was racing, she felt herself being pulled up by her arms and dragged across the room.
"They found us."
