Y/N POV

I groaned as Lily teased me as we sat in the common room.

"Come on Y/N, please let me help."

"No, there's nothing to help with." She huffs.

"And why not?" I frown.

"Because he doesn't like me, he's in love with someone else."

"Y/N you can't believe that, how do you know?" I sigh.

"Because he told me."

"Who is it?"

"I can't tell you, I promised him." She crosses her arms, James, Remus, Sirius, and Peter walk in.

"What's wrong Lily?" She hugs James. "Is Y/N trying to take you from me." He chuckles, I roll my eyes.

"No, Y/N won't let me try to get him and Severus together, they would make such a cute couple." I smile.

"What's the problem?"

"Severus is in love with someone and Y/N won't try to even tell him he has feelings for him."

"Come on Y/N, let us help." I shake my head.

"No thank you, last thing I need is you five helping, especially you two, he'll just think it's a prank and I will not let that happen." They huff crossing their arms. "Besides it's not like I've not tried to tell him, it's I chicken out the last second." I hang my head down in my hands, I feel a hand on my back. "Anyway, I'm going to the great hall for a snack, see ya." They wave as I leave.

James POV

After Y/N leaves Lily looks at us.

"We're helping him, anyway, he's my best friend, I will not let him be sad." We smile and nod. "Now how, because Y/N's right, having you guys there he would just think it's a prank." Me and Padfoot frown but they're right.

"You know what, Padfoot let's grab him and put him in a closet and see if he likes Y/N even a little bit." He nods and we run out the room to the great hall. We walk in to see Y/N looking at Snivellus lovingly, I don't really want him to date him but if he really loves him we have to make sure he's happy. Me and Padfoot walk up to Snivellus, he glares at us.

"What do you two want?" We sigh.

"Lily needs you." He looks surprised but doesn't budge.

"Y/N is stuck and we know you know the best spell to help him." His eyes widen then narrow looking across from him.

"Isn't that him over there?" I faceplam from Padfoot being an idiot.

"No, we had Peter use Polyjuice so people wouldn't ask." I cringe at Padfoot, but sigh seeing Snivellus stand up.

"Take me to him." We nod walking away, I see Y/N raise a brow, I give a thumbs up. We take him to a empty classroom and lock it. "Where is he?" He turns to us and glares. "This was a trap wasn't it?" He pulls out his wand, I raise my hands, Padfoot does the same.

"This wasn't a trap, well not completely, Y/N was the one sitting at the table, we brought you here to talk." He lowers his wand.

"Why?"

"Because we want to know how you feel about Y/N." He gives a small blush and we grin.

"He's a good friend, that's it."

"Are you sure?" He nods looking away, I hear the door open and Y/N walks in. "Y/N? What are you doing here?" He crosses his arms.

"You both grab Severus and you think I'm not going to follow you." I gasp.

"We weren't going to do anything to him, we were just talking." He walks up to Snivellus.

"They didn't do anything to you, Sev?" He shakes his head with a small blush, I give a look to Padfoot and we grin. We walk up to them and push Y/N into Snivellus, we laugh as they both blush pulling away.

"See you both fancy each other, just go out." We run away as we see Y/N glare at us.

Y/N POV

I pinch the bridge of my nose as they ran, I look to Severus.

"I'm sorry about them, they're idiots." He smiles.

"Yeah they are." I chuckle.

"What did they ask you anyway?" He blushes looking away.

"Just how I felt about you." I blush lightly, and sadly smile.

"What did you say?" I know nothing I want to hear.

"That you were a good friend." I nod, internally crying.

"Thanks." I chuckle rubbing my head, he frowns. "Well I better go, see ya, Sev." I turn around and frown, tearing up a little, I walk away, I open the door when it's slammed shut, I jump and turn. Severus was behind me with his arm on the door. "What is it Sev?" He sighs, leaning down he kissed me, my eyes widen as he pulled away, my mouth was wide open, he chuckled putting a hand on my cheek wiping away the tears I shook my head. "Why did you do that?" He looks down.

"Because I love you." My eyes widen.

"But-but you love Lily, you told me that." He smiles.

"I did, but after getting to know you and spending time with you, I realised I loved you." I was speechless, and smiled.

"Really?" He chuckles nodding, he pulls me closer and kissed me again, this time I kissed back wrapping my arms around his neck. I heard a click and saw a flash turning I saw Lily and the marauders smiling. "What are you doing?"

"Y/N I told you to just talk to him. I knew he was in love with you, because he told me." I sighed lowering my head.

"So I worried for nothing." They nod and I chuckled. "Well I guess this is a better time than ever. I love you Severus Snape, even though you can be grumpy at times." He playfully glared at me, then kissed my cheek.

"And I love you Y/N L/N, even when you act like an idiot." I scoff.

"I'm not as bad as Sirius and James." I chuckle hearing them gasp. Severus pulled away, and I raised a brow til I felt four hands grab me. "Oh no." I hear laughter behind me as they start tickling me, I laughed. "Stop you arses."

"No, this is punishment for calling us idiots." I laugh tears falling out of my eyes.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry." They stopped and I catch my breathe, Severus chuckled grabbing my hand. "That was so not funny." They chuckled, I turned to them and playfully glared at them, then smirked, they stopped laughing and gulped.

"Padfoot I think we should run, what do you say?"

"I say let's go." They nod to each other and run, I chuckle then chase after them.

"Potter! Black! Wait til I get my hands on you!."

Severus POV

I chuckle seeing Y/N chase after those two, I look to see Lily smile at me.

"I'm sorry for calling you a Mudblood long ago."

"I'm sorry too for being mean, we've been friends a long time, I should of known you didn't mean it." I smile. "I'm glad you found someone, he'll be the best thing for you." I nod.

"I know he will." Y/N runs back in dragging two bodies, I chuckle as he smirks.

"No one gets away from me." He dumps them next to his other friends and walks up to me wrapping his arms around my neck he kisses me on the lips, I smile kissing back.

"I'd never get away from you." He smiles hugging my neck.
