Remus POV

I looked at the picture on my desk, and smiled, it was of me, James, Sirius, Peter, and Y/N in our times at Hogwarts, I saw the class come in and got to teaching them. After class I sat down and smiled at the picture, Harry walked up to me.

"Yes Harry, how can I help?" He smiled.

"I just wanted to know what's wrong, you seemed lost in class."

"Oh, I was just thinking, that's all." He nods then looks to the picture.

"Who are they?" I give a sad smile.

"That's me, your father, Sirius, Peter, and Y/N." The picture was me, Sirius and Peter in the back making faces, while James and Y/N were in front hugging annoying each other.

"Why's my dad so close with that guy, I thought Sirius was dad's best friend?" I smile nodding.

"He was, that's-." I sigh, I shouldn't tell him, but I have to. "That's your uncle, your father's brother." His eyes widen.

"What happened to him?" I frown.

"I don't know, last I heard he moved away."

"So does he know about me?"

"I don't think so, I think he moved before you were born." He frowns.

"If he had, would he have taken me in?" I smile at him.

"Most likely, he loved your father and mother, he would of spoiled you." He smiles.

"Do you know where he is? I would love to meet him, if he wanted." I pat his head.

"I'll try, though he was always good at hiding." He nods leaving, I look outside wondering where he went. A few days have past since then and I still haven't found him, I tell Harry that, I want him to get family that cares. Today a owl lands in my chambers with a note, I take it, the owl flies off.

'Remus, you're the only one I know who's been trying to find me. I know it's been years but I've decided to come back and make amends, I still love you, always have. I'm heading there, I should be in the Shrieking Shack by the time you get this letter. Love Y/N Potter.'

My eyes widen at that, I rush out of the school without being followed and head to the Whomping Willow, I manage to get past it and into the Shrieking Shack, I carefully look around. I get to a room and see a figure standing at the window, I tear up, they turn around and smile.

"Remus, oh how I've missed you." I walk up to him and hug him, he pats my back. "I'm sorry, will you forgive me, I was a fool to leave, I know that now." I look up at him as tears fall down my face.

"Y/N, I thought I'd never see you again." He smiles kissing my cheek.

"Like I said in my letter, I've always loved you, never stopped." I pull him into a kiss, he smiles.

"And I haven't either." He kisses my nose.

"Good, you must be a teacher if you got here that fast, huh." I chuckle.

"Yes, I'm the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor."

"Ahh that's my boy." I smile, we sit down on the bed.

"What I want to know is, why did you leave?" He frowns, I place my hand on his, he weakly smiles.

"Me and James had got into a terrible fight, I left, after a while we wrote apologizing and to meet up, but he never wrote back, so I just stayed away til he did. Then I read the newspaper that he and Lily died, and I felt so guilty, if I had known I would of been there for them, and they might of survived somehow." He was crying in my arms, I wrap them around him holding him.
