I was walking down the hall of the school. It was empty, because I was late for class.

I got to class, and opened the door. Everyone looked over at me.. I waved, and walked towards my seat, sitting down with a sigh. And the class continued.

I sat down in the next class, already wanting to go home.. I saw, (Y/n). (She/he) was breath taking..

'When will I get the courage to tell you how I truly feel..?' I sighed.

I was walking home, but wasn't paying attention, until I bummed into someone by accident. (Cliché anime moment, here I come-)

I looked up, it was a (girl/boy).. No. It wasn't any normal (girl/boy)! It was (Y/n), (herself/himself)! I got up, awkwardly.

"I-I'm sorry, (Y/n)! I.. I wasn't paying attention, and-" (She/he) put a hand on my mouth.

"Calm down, Link. It's okay. There's no need to apologize. Plus, accidents happen." (She/he) said with a smile. I found myself smiling back.

"Thanks for understanding.." I said. (She/he) looked surprised for a minute, before smiling again, and nodding.

"No problem! Oh, and.. Are you walking home, too?" (She/he) asked. I nodded.

"Yeah." (She/he) smiled.

"Oh, great! Do you mind if I tag along with you, then?" (She/he) asked. I was surprised, but shook my head.

"No. I don't mind at all!" I said with a smile.

"Okay! Then let's go!" (She/he) said as we walked side by side.

*AWKWARD SILENCE*

I wanted to say something, but I couldn't find the words.

"Hey, Link.. Can I ask you something?" (Y/n) asked. I nodded.

"Well, I was wondering.. Why have you been acting weird around me recently?" (She/he) said, looking over at me. I felt my stomach sink.

"B-because.. I.. I.." I stuttered out.

'Why is this so hard!? It's just three words!!' I took a deep breath. (Y/n) was tilting (her/his) head to the side slightly.

"I love you!!" I said closing my eyes, and accidentally yelling really loud with a blush. (Y/n) was shocked.

"I.." (She/he) said. I sighed.

"Look, I get it. You don't have to say anything.. I know you don't love me, too. Who would love m-" I said.

"Bro. Let me talk! I love you, too!" (She/he) said, cutting me off. I gasped, and couldn't help but look up at (her/him) immediately.

"Y-you do!?" I yelled in disbelief.

"Yeah. You'll always be my adorable idiot." (She/he) said with a smile. I smiled back.
