"Love...love? C'mon little duck, we're here," a voice cooed followed by a light kiss to my cheek.
I squinted, taking in the bright natural light before me. Once my eyes adjusted, my mouth soon fell open. Situated ahead was a beautiful two story structure of wood and stone blocks with an already roaring chimney producing black smoke. Beside us, two other vehicles emptied the rest of our party.
"You ready love?" Johnny asked. With a light stretch, I nodded and exited his mustang. My knees locked once I stood upright and I had to massage them to assist with bloodflow.
Ash greeted me first, hugging me tight. "Oh my buddha! This place is gorgeous!" She squealed. "Johnny is just full of surprises isn't he?"
"Yeah, quite a bit," I agreed, still in awe of the house.
"Okay guys, c'mon in!" Johnny called from the now open doorway. And stepping inside, I was speechless all over again.
