A/N: Evening my dears and happy daylight savings time (unless you live in Hawaii or Arizona). Soooooo, the return of Ash? How's everyone feeling about it? There have been plenty of mixed reviews on the matter of her return (or her character). I hope this chapter shines some light on her as a character but it as another warning, may be a slight trigger for some. With that being said, enjoy and onward! Also, to my new followers, this one is for you. Thanks for giving me and this story a chance 😄

"
Jealous? Of me? Why?"
Getting over the shock of Ashlee Mae Park didn't take long. Soon enough, I pulled her into the house then embraced her. Even though I was pissed and confused at Ash's anger towards me, that all faded for a moment as we hugged. What was even better, she hugged me back just as tightly.
"I am so sorry," she whispered, pulling away. She wiped her own eyes that were puffy and red. "I know I'm late, but I'm here to listen."
I opened my mouth to reply only to get interrupted by loud hollering. The television was set to a football game while Caya was passing out cocktails. My mom was adjusting the speakers when she locked eyes with me by the door. I sent her a grin as I cocked my head, signaling her to come over.
"That may be awhile, mind waiting?" I asked.
Ash's eyes widened as she looked around me, seeing everyone for the first time. "Uhm, will they mi-"
"Well hello there!" Mom greeted, standing beside me. "Who might you be?"
"Ashlee Park ma'am! But you can call me Ash," she replied. I suppressed a giggle at the hint of nervousness in her tone. "I'm Lennon's roommate."
"Finally," she cheered, stepping forward to give Ash a hug. "Such a pleasure to meet you! Lennon has told us so much about you!"
Ash's face fell as she sent me a look, "good things I hope?"
Mom pulled me to her side, smiling crookedly at Ash. "Only the best! Thanks for taking care of my baby," she replied, kissing the side of my head. Ash relaxed at her response. "I'm Elizabeth by the way, have you eaten yet sweetie? We have plenty of food left," she stated, pulling Ash along before she could answer.
Ash looked over her shoulder at me and I shrugged, following behind them. "Not yet. I'm famished actually."
"Well you've come to the right house! My partner, Clea, made everything. Speaking of Clea..." she paused, looking towards the living room, "Clea! Come meet Lennon's friend!"
"Lennon has a friend?!" One of Clea's relatives chimed in.
"Lennon socializes?! When the hell did that happen?!"
"Are pigs flying?"
"Don't talk about Lennon like that!"
I threw my head back, sighing loudly. I know they're only joking, only they didn't realize how close to home their comments were. But it's ok, I had home court advantage.
"Ya'll better watch your damn mouths or I'll kick you out of my house!" Caya yelled.
"Sorry Clea!"
"Sorry Lennon, we love you!"
"Yeah, that's what I thought I heard," Clea muttered as she headed our way. She gave me a quick head nod before rounding on Ash. "So you're the famous Ash huh?"
Ash nodded, "yes ma'am."
Clea looked her up and down, sizing her up. She hummed slightly, stepping forward. "Do you like to eat?"
