The night air was cool and there was only a slight breeze.

Everything was silent except for the sound of someone running through the forest. It was a young 9 year old girl. She had short, shoulder length chocolate brown hair that was flying behind her as she ran, her cheeks faintly pink.

The girl soon slowed to a walk by a large oak tree. Walking around the tree she stopped and knelt down on one knee in front of a tall grey wolf that wore an aqua coloured gem around its neck.

"I'm sorry leader. I couldn't collect the fruit, I was almost spotted and had to run." The girl spoke. She spoke softly, upset that she failed at her given task.

"Do not worry child. It was only a small training task; you came back alive and unharmed. That's the good thing, so do not worry." The wolf told the girl calmly. "Now run along. Go home and get some rest. You still have school tomorrow don't you? I'll let Rikar walk you home."

"Yes, leader, I do. Thank you very much sir" The girl replied, clearly happier now that she knew nothing bad was going to come of her failure. Standing up, she turns to her left to see her best friend Rikar standing there smiling. "Rikar! Hello!" She said to him happily.

"Hello Dawn. Come on, let's go, we can talk while I take you home." Rikar replied calmly before he turned around and started walking in the direction of the young girl; Dawn's house.

"Ok!" Dawn replied as she ran to catch up to her friend "I can't wait till I'm old enough to earn my name! I wonder what it'll be?" She questioned.

"I don't know Dawn. I don't know..." Rikar told her peacefully as they walked towards the edge of the forest, where Dawn's house was.
