Chapter 10

The next day, Iris had told the Black Market about the Silver banshees. She told them about their motto, and how close they were, and how they got separated from each other, and how the girls from the Serpents would steal from them and beat them up. Sorry about your crew. Raya said as she and Janet put comforting hands on her shoulders. Look on the bright side, at least you got your revenge. And those scumbags won't have to bother us anymore. Peter said.

Later that day, the Black Market had met the Serpents at the Quag to claim their money. Tony placed 2 duffel bags on the floor by his feet. You know what, we thought about it and we changed our minds. We don't wanna give you the money anymore. Instead... We want more money from you. Tony said, pulling out a gun. What the hell do you think you're doing? Goldface said angrily. We had a deal. You give us the money, and you leave us alone. Peter said. Well uh, we had a change of heart. Jaco said as he also held a gun at them. Rookie mistake. Leonard said as he pulled out his gun. The rest of the Black Market and Serpent gang pulled out their guns and aimed at each other.

Suddenly, a gun battle broke out between the two gangs. Other random gang members fled the Quag and it was now the Serpents and the Black Market who were left there to battle. Gang members started shooting at different directions as they hid behind walls and trees. Sylbert and Peter got shot in the leg. Barry, Iris, Raya and Janet all got shot in the arm, but none of them were able to harm their opponents. The battle was over, and luckily no one died.

It wasn't long til the sound of sirens echoed in the distance. Soon, footsteps and voices could be heard scuffing on the floor. Leonard, Mick, grab the money! Goldface ordered as he and the rest of the gang took off running. Leonard and Mick did what they were told. They grabbed the 2 duffel bags and ran after their gang. The Serpents weren't so lucky, the cops arrived and cuffed them. Soon enough, they were being escorted to Iron Heights prison.

The Black Market watched as Tony and his gang were ushered into police cars. They were hiding behind a wall in an alley and as soon as the police cars drove off, they bursted out laughing. When they returned to their layer, Goldface had stitched up Sylbert, Peter, Barry, Iris, Raya and Janet, where they were shot. They all celebrated getting their money back and the arrest of the Serpents. They drank beer and mingled with each other. They did it. They finally got rid of the Serpents. No one will never steal their money again. After the Serpents arrest became headlines to the other gangs and crews, The Black Market became the new lead crew to ally crews and gangs.

But more importantly, the Black Market became even closer. They even started calling each other a family.
