This episode of Outside, I'm talking about talent. It's a basic concept. It's said that all people have a special trait that makes them better at something than a set of other people. I'm sure all reading have talents. Some more than others.
The way talent works is it's a special thing a person might feel is interesting or in some cases attractive. Some people don't develop talent, some people are naturally good at it. It might be genetic but I don't I'm not a scientist. Those are pretty common though. If you're good at high jump, you're probably tall. If you're not tall, then you might have strong legs, makes it a developed talent.
Physical kinds of talent can work the other way as well. Some people just can't play guitar or piano because they don't have fast enough reaction time, or low dexterity.
You can be good at literally anything. Talents are confidence. I used to be a terrible author, it was kind of sad. (Example shown in my new series 'Magic Hell'). What got be through was my confidence. Other kids my age were shocked at how much I could write, and the adults in my life fed me some white lies and said it was impressive; and that gave me confidence. It inspired me to be better and I got better, and that was just my confidence.
Some people don't have a steady amount of confidence to begin with, and don't try their hardest trying to master a talent. When that happens, they usually give up, and say 'I'll never have any talents'. This is never true. If they got up, decided they were going to be good, they would be. Don't use 'I'm just not talented' as an excuse. Use something like 'I can't do gymnastics because I don't have arms', which is physical.
Anyone can be good anything.

Talent.
