Nathan:

I didn't catch the doctor's name because once he said to go to the hospital, everyone was moving. The doctor didn't say I couldn't walk, but I was scooped up anyway by Kev. Following the commotion the other three boys came in asking what was going on.

"Nathan's sick." Nano said. He was yanking papers from his bag onto the bed with his back to them.

"Hotel sick or hospital sick?" Tom asked.

Three pairs of eyes locked on mine while I clung to Kev hoping he wouldn't drop me. He wouldn't, but I felt fine. I didn't need a hospital.

"Hospital." Nano said.

"What's wrong now?" Max asked.

I didn't like his tone, but no one else caught on. No one cared about anything right now except getting me to a place I didn't need to go.

"A doctor wants him there." Nano said.

"The car's here." Jay said speaking to Nano.

"Right. Kev go on ahead." Nano said.

Kev, along with me, headed on out leaving the other three clueless.

-

I looked out the window in the car ignoring everyone else. No one touched me after Kev had placed me down. They thought I could be contagious with whatever I have. I don't have anything. No one believed me so I ignored them all.

Not everyone came. One person wasn't here. The fucker.

No one noticed him not come with us.

-

Only Nano came in with me while everyone else crowded the waiting room.

"There's nothing wrong with me. No cough, sneeze, tight chest. I just threw up." I said.

"That guy wanted you here. He thinks different." Nano said.

"Doctor's make mistakes. Do I look sick to you?" I asked.

"You did when you came back with Jay." Nano said.

"I'm fine now." I said.

"Let him check up on you. If nothing's wrong we'll go back." Nano said.

He raised his hand to pat me on the shoulder, but put it down and backed up.

"I'm not contagious!" I shouted.

The door opened up and a different doctor came in. He wheeled in a cart behind him with a portfolio on it.

"Patient and doctor only." Doctor said speaking at Nano.

The doctor had on a white coat like most doctors, blonde graying hair, and bright blue eyes. He looked intimidating. I grabbed Nano's hand, ignoring the flinch from him.

"Don't go." I said.

"We'll be right outside." Nano said.

He undid his hand from mine and left me. If it was anyone else, they would have stayed.

"Now. I'm Doctor Reed, you're Nathan Sykes. What's wrong with you?" Doctor Reed asked.

He wasn't one for introduction.

"There's nothing wrong with me." I said.

"Then why are you here? Wasting our time?" He asked.

I didn't like him.

"A stupid hotel doctor told me to. I wouldn't have come here if my manager, bodyguard, and bandmates hadn't forced me into the car. Wasting my damn time too." I said.
