It has been about a week since we helped out Varian, we had found out about this universe and immediately rushed over, if my calculations are correct then Kati should be connected right now, we might not be able to stop Myrrah from possessing Reyna but we should be able to gain another powerful ally if we move quickly. I hooked myself into the conscious inserter and was immediately transfered to when the Matriarch attacked Kait, shooting at it with my pistol I was able to kill it and help Kait up "who are you" Kait said to which I said "an ally but to prove to me that you have what I think you have meet me on the surface and also kill the Matriarch" with that I left and waited for her arrival.
Time jump.
After 5 minutes of waiting Kait and Del popped out of with JACK, Del looked ready to kill us before Kait said "it's alright I kinda know them" "yeah we were the people who could help you with you losing control of your Swarm controlling powers" I responded as a helicopter landed nearby "now this is getting out of hand" Blake said as who I could assume was JD Fenix and Marcus Fenix who said "hey who are these fools" "they are some friends of mine" Kait said which calmed them down. "Getting to the matter at hand we know why you lose control and we can sever the link between you and your grandma who is making this happen" I said with a knowing glint in my eyes "but wait if my link to the Swarm isn't severed then won't I still possibly lose control" Kait said rather concerned "not if we do it my way" I responded pointing to the conscious linker, "that machine will allow you to go into your subconscious and kill her link to you, you might even be able to boost your powers of controlling the Swarm" I continued. "Hold on your saying that she doesn't need to sever the link to the Swarm instead you're going to increase it's power" Del said "yes, if she can control the Swarm then she can turn them against the ones controlled by Queen Myrrah and stop this war" I said. Kait thought about it and said "I'll do it" "alrighty then lay down here" I responded as I prepared the machine. "You'll be able to see what's going on with this screen, whatever you do, whatever you see, don't try and disconnect her as it could kill her" I warned them and they nodded in agreement as the machine fired up. She landed in the main Swarm nest where she killed her mother with Marcus' knife that killed Queen Myrrah during the Locust Wars and she knew what happened during those wars. She had to kill the form of Queen Myrrah in her head which showed herself soon after Kait arrived and said "deary it's me your grandmother come on let's rule together" "I have better ideas" Kait said before plunging the knife straight into the heart of Queen Myrrah "that's for all the people you killed" she said as she pulled out the knife and plunged it into her throat "that's for Uncle Oscar" she said as she pulled out the knife one last time and plunged it straight into her eye "that's for my Mother" she finished as Queen Myrrah's body disintegrated. A Locust version of Kait appeared and they circled each other before human Kait said "so your my Locust side huh" "and your my human side huh" the Locust version responded "let's end this war so no more from yours or my side die" human Kait said "sounds like a good deal" the Locust form said as they shook. The screen went black as Kait woke up and Brie moved to see the level of control she had, "Kait" J.D said as Kait nearly fainted and he caught her, he continued "you feel alright" Kait looked up and said "never felt better" Kait had what looked like a bit of locust skin on her face, Brie spoke up "I ran a couple test and the results are interesting Kait, you can control 200 Swarmaks, 2000 each of Carriers, Snatchers, and Pounchers, and 2 million other swarm warriors" the gears of war squad mouths were opened at this point before Del hugged Kait and said "haha now we have a real fighting chance against these guys" the rest were overjoyed as well. I got some information about the Swarm attacking a major outpost nearby with the rest of Delta squad, as well as Marcus' father and told everyone "hey guys there is some Swarm attacking nearby, what do you say we build an army" Kait smiled and said "let's get to work"
Time jump.
This was no small force as there was at least 200 Swarm soldiers, 20 Pouncers, 2 Snatchers and Carriers, and a Swarmak. "You know how to sever their connection to the Swarm hive mind and attach it to your own hive mind" I asked her "yep let's begin" she responded before she closed her eyes, 2 seconds later the Swarm units stopped attacking and I shut off all the guns so that none else would die, all the humans looked seriously confused as we landed and Kait stepped out causing the Kait units A/N any Swarm controlled by Kait will be called Kait units and her army is the Kait hive mind to bow to her "rise my friends, we will help the humans and I will make sure that you have a home" she said. Baird approached her and said "Kait what happened in that lab you found" "Kait here is now able to control the Swarm and a lot of them" Marcus responded. "You all know what this means right" Kait said to a stunned crowd before continuing "it means we can stop this permanently" a massive cheer went up from the Kait hive mind and the outpost guarders.
