Nico-

I wake up to a knock on my door. I shuffle to the door and open it to see the sun high in the sky. I must have slept in. Whoops. I had been up late last night. There had been another party on the beach Ash had dragged me to. It had actually been fun. 

Standing in the doorway was Ashley, her long black hair cascading over her shoulders and green eyes sparkling in the sun. "You forgot. Didn't you..." She says, looking down at my bare chest. I realize I'm not wearing a shirt. Again. 

"Forgot... What...." I reply. 

"We were going to go to the beach today. Remember?" 

I look down at her and realize she is wearing her swim suit. "Right. Gods I'm an idiot." I say. I grab a shirt, as I am already wearing my swimsuit, as I did not bother to change out of it yesterday, and walk out the door. 

I shouldn't have forgotten about it, because ever since Ashley stopped talking to Karina, she's been coming to me more often. I don't really mind I guess. She's fun to hang out with. And she's so nice. She actually cares. To be honest, I'm actually kind of happy Ashley is not on speaking terms with Karina. I know, it's terrible. But now she comes to talk to me more. Which, now that I think about it is probably just to help her forget about Karina. 

Life's confusing like that.

Today, Percy, Annabeth, Leo (Who has been acting a bit strange lately), Piper, Jason Ashley and I decided to go to the beach. Since it's Sunday, we don't have to train or anything. 

We sit on the beach in our swimsuits, laughin about  who knows what. I look sideways to see Ashley laughing at something Piper said. When she smiles, her green-blue eyes light up.

I realize in that moment that I don't just like Ashley as a friend. I LIKE her like her. She is so nice and caring, and funny. On top of that, she's smart, and really pretty. More beautiful then any daughter of Aphrodite I've ever seen. But I know she would never like me back. Why should she ever want to be with someone like me?

I KNOW IT WAS SHORT (shorter then usual) AND I AM AWARE IT SUCKS CRAP ASDFGHJKL DEAL WITH IT GAH. Sorry it's been one of those days. 

Anyway, tell me what you think. And could someone please tell me what AMTA means... I feel so stupid not knowing....

Okay. Well don't kill me. Please. Please. Leave that to my friend bc she's already got that covered.
