Connor and I stared at the sky,we sat in the back of his truck.we were supposed to be seniors in school,we were supposed to be in school.but we weren't,because....we can't go back home.we can never go back home,I remember the day we left....
Flashback!
Evan's pov
"What the fuck am I gonna do Evan?!she'll tell mom and dad!!"Connor was freaking out in my room,I was trying my best to calm him down."we-we..."even I didn't know what to do,so I could only think of one thing."I-I-I ha-have a-a plan,b-but it-it's over-overkill."i began to say,I wiped he tears."What is it?"he asked,"J-Ja-Jared's be-bee-been taking classes on-on m-ma-making realistic human sized figures..."I began to explain.he looked at me,he seemed confused.i exhaled,I took out my computer and opened google docs."what are you doing?"he asked,I gulped."m-making f-fake suicide notes fo-for us."i said,he seemed a bit surprised."Are....are you saying we're going to fake a suicide?"he asked,I nodded.

Evan's pov
And that's how we got here,now we were in New Orleans.we were trying to get to our goal:Manhattan.Connor says he has an uncle who works there,luckily Connor had to actually call him and tell him he's not dead and that he's on his way over there.i smiled when he mentioned me,"ready to go?"he asked.i looked up at the stars one last time,then I looked at Connor."Y-Yep."i said,we hopped off the back of his truck and got in the front.
