As Lex and Sebastian were trying to get Weyland up the tall creature was getting closer, very close. "Sebastian, get her out of here. Now! Rose you go with them! Protect them." Weyland said, trying to stay. "Now. Run!" he called out to them. Rose started to run with Lex and Sebastian but stopped and turned, they can't just leave him. Weyland went to attack (Which was a stupid idea) the creature with an icepick. He was picked up by his neck, feet dangling. He let him go after looking at his chest, which was odd. "Don't turn your back on me." He muttered, activating a flare. He made a flamethrower! He got stabbed, Dead. Rose, Sebastian, and Lex kept running until hey reached a small hall connected to a doorway. Sebastian's watch was beeping, uh oh. The floor started to move up. "This way!" he yelled, the three running. The floor to the other door was also rising. "Go. Go!" Sebastian yelled. Rose leaped up and through smoothly, Lex crawling through with Sebastian behind her. A scraping noise was heard which led to Sebastian slipping and falling on his back, groaning a bit. He was ok. A metal shuriken was wedged in the wall. Rose climbed up and grabbed it, fiddling with it until it closed. She hopped down and placed it in her pocket, for safekeeping. "Look over here." Lex called to Rose and Sebastian, the two walking over. It was a rectangle peephole, big enough to see through. The tall creature had his mask off and was doing something to his helmet or mask. He then proceeded to do the same to his forehead. "He's marking himself." Sebastian stated as they watched. Rose watched in astonishment as he did so, wait what?! "What?" Lex asked. "Ancient warriors would mark themselves with the blood of their kill. It's a rite of passage. This is starting to make sense." Sebastian explained, turning away with Lex and Rose. Hieroglyphs were on the ceiling, everywhere. "The Hieroglyphs are a little difficult to make out, But the story's all here." Sebastian said, shining his light on them. Rose narrowed her eyes behind her sunglasses as she looked at them, trying to understand them. "Thousands of years ago, hese hunters found a backwater planet. They taught humans how to build and were worshipped as gods. Every hundred years, the gods would return. And when they did, they would expect a sacrifice. Humans were used to breed the ultimate prey. The hunters would battle with these great serpents to prove themselves worthy to carry the mark. But if the hunters lost they made sure nothing survived. An entire civilization wiped out overnight." Sebastian explained. "So, the humanoids, the hunters...they brought those creatures here to hunt?" Lex asked Sebastian. "I say for the crawling freaks to burn in hell." Rose said, shivering. Use them to breed for the freaks? fuck that. They stood in front of the gold looking door, staring at it. "When that door opens, we're dead." Sebastian told the two. "Not if we set things right." Lex countered. "What do you mean?" Sebastian asked. "yea because lets see. If you two die, I'm going out." Rose said, crossing her arms. "This pyramid, it's like a prison. We took the guards guns and now the prisoners are running free. To restore order, the guards need their guns. When that door opens, we're gonna give that thing his gun back." Lex whispered. "Are you crazy? During a big game hunt? The animals being hunted don't arm the hunters." Sebastian argued. "They're not hunting us. We're in the middle of a war. It's time to pick a side." Lex argued back. "We are on our side." Sebastian argued once more. "We have to consider the possibility we might not make it out of here. But we have to make sure those serpents don't reach the surface. Because if they do-" Lex was cut off. "Everything will die, etc etc." Rose finished. "The enemy of my enemy...is my friend." Sebastian said, glancing to Rose and Lex. "Aw well that makes me your friend now." Rose teased, grinning. Sebastian's watch beeped. It was time. A hidden door behind them opened. "Let's go find our friend." Lex said, starting to move. Rose winced at the thought, nah not her. They walked down the hall and went right, still walking. "How do you say scared shitless in Italian?" Lex asked, to take their minds off of things. There came another scraping noise and looked down another hall, scraping everywhere. A serpent appeared in front of them. "Move!" Sebastian yelled, the three running. There was a gap of a small bridge that had been broken and fell, which was not good. Sebastian had made it but Lex had held on to the edge, trying to hold on. Rose fell and clinged to the wall below Lex's feet, her nails changing into claws. "Come on Lex." Sebastian grunted, trying to pull her up. A serpent was behind him. "Sebastian!" Rose yelled out as he got taken away. Lex pulled herself up then Rose climbed up, her nails returning to normal. A crunch was felt, something hard. Sebastian's cap necklace. Lex picked it up and pocketed it, to keep it safe. The two walked down a hall, steadily walking down it. They arrived at a dead end. But something felt odd, like something was watching them. The two turned around to see the hunter, with a spear. Rose didn't show fear, demons were fearless. The hunter activated his spear, ready for charge. "Wait. Wait. please, wait." Lex pleaded, hands in surrender. Rose only shook her head as she watched her do this, it better work. Now the hunter was confused, god. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Lex whispered, sliding the weapon to him. As Lex stood up a serpent tackled the hunter only to be yeeted off, the spear dropping. Rose ran after the serpent as it leaped at Lex, who impaled it with the spear. Rose slid over to Lex's side as the serpents movements slowed and steadily stopped, dying. Lex put it on the ground, trying to find her bearings. Rose patted her on the arm as a 3 dotted laser went over Lex and Rose, stopping at Lex's head. All of a sudden a screeching noise was heard causing the hunter to turn and shoot at the serpents that were on the ceiling, or at least trying to shoot them. The hunter waited until they were all gone so that he was able to get his spear back from the dead serpent. He was walking away. "Hey. I'm coming with you." Lex called out, following him. He whipped around and growled loudly, Lex backing up. Rose just stood there, shrugging. The hunter eyed the serpents carcass before looking back at Lex, then Rose. Hi gaze on her stayed there, giving a small purr. He just purred at her! Rose cleared her throat and stepped behind Lex, getting uncomfortable. The hunter began cutting at the serpents head, taking it off. What was he doing? He cut the sharp part of the tail off and tied it to something, like making a spear. Tail as a spear and head as a shield of some sorts. Nice. The hunter turned to Rose head tilted. "Why does he keep staring at me? Do I have something on my face or something?" Rose whispered to Lex, eyeing the hunter back. "Maybe he likes you." Lex whispered back in a teasing kind of way. Rose winced at Lex's words, why? "Let's go." Rose muttered, the two running after the hunter. "Where is he taking us?" Rose asked Lex, the two jogging side by side. "I don't know. But hopefully to the exit." Lex grunted out as the two continued to run. They arrived at a nest of some sorts with goo everywhere and just, disgusting. What they saw horrified Lex. People were trapped in the goo, dead, with their chests open. Miller, everyone. Lex picked the pistol up and walked in further, gasping at the sight. Sebastian. "I'm going to get you out of here." Lex hushed, going to try and get him out. The hunter was about to shoot but Lex stopped him, trying to say she was trying to help. "They mustn't reach the surface." Sebastian groaned out to Lex and Rose. Lex nodded as he repeated it again. Lex aimed the pistol as the chestburster inside Sebastian was trying to break out. "Do it!" He yelled, groaning in pain. "Protect her Rose. Protect humanity." Sebastian called out to Rose. Rose nodded and frowned, looking at him. "As always." She whispered, watching lex shoot him. He was dead. "Riposare in paradiso." Rose whispered, following Lex. "Hey. It's going to be ok. He is in a better place now, they all are." She whispered to Lex. "I know. our main objective is to get out of here." She whispered clasping her arm. Rose nodded and handed her spear to her, watching her take it. "You would have been an excellent angel. A warrior." Rose said, smiling a tad. Lex smiled a bit "Come on. Let's march on." She said, patting her arm.
