I wanted to let Vladimir know that he may have the power here, but he will not win the war. I may not have chosen this life, but I'm accepting it now. I'm choosing this life so I can change it, rebuild it, and repair the damages this life has caused so many people as for my plan to do that I will have to figure that out in time. Right now, my head is back in a trash can.
UGH!
Noah sat in the changing room with me, staring at the wall. He asks me in Russian, "So you punched Vladimir?"
As I was putting my arm back in my sleeve, I answered, "Yes."
"Did you draw blood?"
"That and teeth," I answered.
I could sense a smile across Noah's face when I told him I punched Vladimir. Noah then tells me, "I'm going to arrange a test for you."
"What kind of test?"
"Pregnancy test," Noah answered.
What! I stepped in front of him, "I'm not pregnant!"
Noah then says to me, "It would make sense as to why you are throwing up a lot." I rolled my eyes because I honestly didn't want it to be true. I can't be pregnant. Especially not while I'm stuck here.
Noah then says to me, "I want to be sure Taylor because if you are pregnant. I need to keep you safe."
I was confused. Why is my safety a priority for you? "Why the sudden concern for my safety?" I asked.
"I think we both know." He answered. "I watched the expression on your face the first time you'd seen me without my mask. Which lead me to believe you already figured it out. I'm your father-in-law's twin brother."
He confirmed it. My eyes rolled into my head as I fell to the floor.
During the night, I woke up back in my cell. My head was pounding when I heard Rod whisper, "You awake?"
"Yeah," I answered, trying to see. Nik! "What did they do with my friend's body?"
