The double doors slammed open, everyone looked in shock at the woman at the doors. Head bowed, staring at the floor, her ginger hair that had a few black streaks is in a knotted mess, her clothes torn, and her once fair skin turned into an ashy grey, red horns on top of her head, blood stained her skin from the scars on her face and body. She finally manages to look up at the crowd before her. Her fangs showed as she smiled widely.
She stands straight as she walks forward to the crowd, who backs up immediately. "well?" She says as she takes a glance at the crowd before her with glowing red eyes, "you're acting as if you've never seen a demon before" she states as brushes her red, and black-streaked hair. The crowd jumps back in fear as her voice crackles in laughter.
"To be truthfully honest, I've never felt more alive!" She says as her laugh gets louder. The lights start to flicker and one-by-one they burst into sparks, making the whole gym go dark. The demon stops laughing and her voice echos when she says, "Oh, this is what I call fun!" Everyone screams, terrified.
"Alex!" called a blonde-haired girl from the door that the red and black haired demon came from. She was out of breath from running and held a silver mirror in her hands. Her yellow sundress was bloody, from the fight that had happened beforehand. Her brown eyes widen as she sees the crowd of people with the little light there is. "Alex?!" She calls again. The red and black-haired girl turns and smirks at the blonde, "oh, sister dear, Alex is not here at the moment" she told the blonde as she turns to her, "but I would love to give her a message"
"S-Scarlett?" The blonde stood there dumbfounded Holding the mirror tighter, "what did you do to Alex?!"
The demon just smiled, "oh, I didn't do anything" she turns to the crowd, "it's what you all did to her!"
"Alex, I know you're in there" The blonde spoke to the red and black-haired girl, "please, it's me, Lory, I'm sorry, ok, I'm sorry" Lory's voice broke and she had tears in her eyes. The demon's smile fades, the glowing red eyes, flashed to Alex's normal emerald green colour, "L-Lory?" A soft, croaky voice was spoken. A smile spread on Lory's face, "yes, Ali, it's me, your best friend" she says softly as she grabs one of Alex's cold hands. Alex then loses her smile, as she reaches for the silver mirror in Lory's hands. She grinned as she pushes Lory away and laughs.
"Oh, my dear sister, you're so gullible" Scarlett smiles coldly at her blonde sister, watching her eyes go wide. The silver mirror turns black in Scarlett's hand. "I always wondered what it felt like to be the one in control," Scarlett laughs, then holds out the mirror towards Lory, "I guess now I know," she says before mumbling a few words, Lory, laying hopelessly on the floor, gets sucked into the mirror with a beam of dim light that came from the mirror.
With a quick flick, Scarlett drops the mirror and disappears into a cloud of smoke before it could hit the floor. "You know what they say, revenge is the sweetest thing"
_________________________Tears fell onto the marble floor, the clothes she's wearing are torn and her red hair looks like it hasn't been brushed in ages. She's sitting in the corner, her knees to her chest. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she repeatedly mumbles every now and again, hoping someone can hear her.
It felt like years until the ground suddenly started to shake. 'What's going on?' She asked herself as she tightens her grip on herself. Then as soon as it started it stops. "Scarlett!" Someone yells the red-hair girl's head snaps up at the sound. "Scarlett, let me out of here!" The voice calls again.
"L-lory?" Her croaky voice calls. The silence was her answer, she knew better to get her hopes up. "Alex?" The voice asked, "Alex, is that you?"
"Lory?" She called again with a slimmer of hope.
"Alex!" The voice was louder, then the sound of someone running towards her. In the darkness, the blonde friend gasps at the sight of her friend. "Alex, w-what happened," Lory asked as she wrapped her arms around the redhead. Alex shakes her head, Hugging her friends tighter, "I'm sorry"
"For what? Alex, you did nothing wrong" Lory breaks the hug and places her hands on Alex's shoulder, "the person that should be sorry is me, I'm the one who left you"
Alex shakes her head, "I-I'm the one w-who broke that m-mirror"
"No, no, it's not your fault Alex" Lory tries to reassure
"But it is!" Alex screams, pushing Lory away as she grips both sides of her head, "it's my fault. You told me to never touch the mirror, but then you left, and I-I got mad a-and she c-came and told me h-how she can t-take care of e-everything" tears streamed down Alex's face. The more she thought about it, the worse it got, "I-I was alone, a-and it f-felt like e-everyone was going to l-leave me" Lory listened to the broken girl, not letting a single word fall to the ground. "No, Ali, it's not your fault, " Lory said softly, "it's Scarlett, it's her fault that she played you, manipulated you. Ok? It's not your fault she used you" Lory removed Alex's hands from her head.
"But-"
"No, you have to remember, Alex, you're in control. Not her" Alex nods, letting out a shaky sigh. "I'm sorry I left you, Alex. I thought it'll be good for you if I did"
"Why? Why would you think that? I was so lost and alone without you"
"Because you don't need me, Alex. Your a grown woman, you don't need an Imaginary Friend" Lory reason
"maybe, but your still apart of me whether you like it or not, Lory, you tell me what's right and you lead me in the right path," Alex says "I need you, and for Scarlett, whether we like it or not she's apart of me too. Maybe not the best part, but she's still me in some shape and form and without you, that bad part of me goes out of control"
Lory sighs, "I know, that's why I tried to hide her from you" She states as tears stream down her face, "I wanted you to never see that side of you. The person you could have been. I-I was afraid you would choose her instead of me"
"What do you mean by that?" Alex asked confused, Lory looks away and sighs,
"I put Scarlett in that mirror" Alex's eyes widen, "it's my fault above all. I placed her in that mirror and she swore that if she ever found a way out" Lory sighs, "she'll try everything to take everything from me. I guess she saw your weakest moment and took advantage of that"
"It's not fair? Is it?" a voice echoes through the darkroom.
