If you had any superpower, what would it be? Invisibility? Flying? Super-strength? What about mind-reading? I'm Alex, and I have the ability to read minds, it started when I was 7 years old, now being 16. It can be a little useful... "Alex! I need your help!" Yelled my younger sister, Lory, who's 15, running down the stairs into the living room where I was reading my favorite book, I look up, "let me guess, you need my help to... pick an outfit for an upcoming dance at school?"

"You seriously need to stop reading minds, that's a violation of privacy, you know," she said crossing her arms

"thanks to you worrying about it out loud, I didn't have to read your mind," I said back to her putting my book down on my lap, smirking. She just sighs and says, "can you just help me. Please"

"Ok, I'll help you" I stand up and put my book on the coffee table, Lory squeals, and drags me up to her room. Her walls are Pink with a white carpet floor and a pink rug in the middle of her floor, under her window she had her desk, which is covered in clothes, and her bed in the middle also covered in clothes, "Good Lord, Lory I didn't think you were this fixated on this dumb dance"

"This isn't just a 'dumb dance' Alex! This dance is the last dance for this year!" She yelled as she plops on her bed. "I don't know why you called me, you know I don't have 'fashion sense'" I said to her, she looks up at me as if begging for help, I sighed, "fine, pick an outfit and I'll tell you if you should wear it" again she squeals and runs to her walk-in closet, and shuts the door.

*********

After what felt like hours she finally finds the 'one'. "Yaya!! Thanks, Al"

"Your welcome," I said hugging her and walking out of the room.

"Hey! Al!" Lory said grabbing my wrist before I can fully walk out of her room, pulling me back inside, "why are you not going?"

"Lory you know why, I just don't do school dances"

"But it can be fun! I mean everyone at school is going"

"That doesn't mean I have to go"

"But-" Lory started before I cut her off, "No, Lory, I'm not going"

Lory gave me a puppy dog face, trying to get me to come to the dance "please" I looked at her for a little bit longer then gave a big sigh, "fine, I'll go"

"Yes!!" Lory jumped up with excitement "but! I'm not wearing a dress"

"Deal! Now come on I want to help plan your outfit!" Lory squealed with even more excitement than before and dragged me to my room.
