It took Yoongi exactly two seconds to understand what was happening when he opened his eyes first thing in the morning. He had overslept. Again. And he would be late. Again. With a groan, he sat up in his bed, immediately noticing the memories of his dream fade into thin air and disappear forever.
He had to hurry now, or did he? It wouldn't really matter anyway. He might as well just vanish. It wasn't like he'd be missed in the factory. Alright, that wasn't entirely true, and he knew it. Taehyung would sure be worried when he didn't show up again and Hoseok would notice, too, but the rest of the people not so much.

He got up with a sigh and went into the bathroom, trying hard not to stare at his tired and worn out reflection. It showed dark circles under his small and sad-looking eyes that broke his pale porcelain face. He washed it together with the rest of his small and lean body that was covered in the same white skin, feeling cold and dry.
That was just the way it was at the north pole. Nothing out of the ordinary. With a glare, he stared his everyday-outfit down to hell and back before lazily putting it on. He didn't like it, and there was a good reason why: Everyone at his unit was wearing it. And it was red and green with white wool and a stupid pointed hat that made his ears stick out.
In fact: it put attention to everything he was trying to ignore or forget about his life, but there was no point in whining about it every day. Which is why he swallowed his pissed-off thoughts and started hurrying out of his room that he shared with one of his colleagues.

While running down the hallway – which was one other thing that he hated – he couldn't help but think about why he was going to work anyways. It wasn't like he was going to help a lot. They were quite productive without him after all. But he had to and maybe someday he'd be able to do something he was actually good at which was what Seokjin had promised a long time ago already.
Down the stairs, then turn left and the huge door he was looking at was his last obstacle to get to his work-place. He tried to enter as unnoticed as possible after a short break to catch his breath, but of course, the first thing that happened was that he stumbled and fell against his superior who was in charge of the entire factory-unit, Yoongi worked in.
"Good morning! There you are, I was about to look for you.", he greeted him with a huge smile that made him feel more guilty than every single scolding would have. He was too nice to him even though all the platinum-blonde was, was a disappointment, not a helping hand to the cause. It wasn't even because he didn't want to, Yoongi would give so much to be able to help make all the children happy, but he couldn't. And that was unfair but impossible to fix.
"I'm really sorry I'm late, Sir, but I-"
"It's fine, you're just on time to help me with something, don't worry about it.", the other said and snapped his finger once. Out of nowhere, an envelope appeared in front of Yoongi's eyes, flowing in the air until he took it into his hands. No, he wasn't shocked about this at all, it was normal everyday business with Hoseok, his superior. The brunette's ability was it to teleport things from anywhere right to where he was and he used it well. Of course he did, that was what it was there for.

Hoseok quickly told him what he had to do with it, and then turned around again to help some of the others with their jobs. He was a very nice guy, a little taller than Yoongi, with brown slightly curled hair and warm, always smiling eyes. He had a tip-nose and full, dark lips that were shaped beautifully. He didn't always wear his hat, but even without it, his long ears would stick out of his fringe cutely, almost as if they were trying to show everyone what he was. He was wearing the same outfit as Yoongi with the only difference that it looked perfect on him, just like the others. They were meant to wear it, and everyone was, why was it that it fitted to their appearance wonderfully, just not to Yoongi's?
He himself was very short and slim, had a rounder face with a broader nose, but smaller lips, serious and sharp eyes and a constant pout on his face. He hated his ears that were smaller, but still visible and pointed just like the rest and he always tried to hide them under his hat or hair, but they would still find a way to stick out and show that he was an outcast. He was an elf just like the rest, but he wasn't at the same time.
