The company set off early on the morning of the next December day. The sky was still grey, only traces of light coming from behind a hill that showed the sun was rising. It wasn't too dark to see anymore, but with bad-eyesight, as Yoongi had, it was already a stretch to see the factory behind him after a few minutes of walking. Whereas Taehyung and Jungkook seemed at their best mood and completely left out from tiredness, their elders were all calmly walking behind them, none speaking a word for the first hour. When that time passed, Jimin spoke up and even though he wasn't very loud and the maknaes were running around in the snow ahead of them, they stopped immediately and listened to what he wanted to say. Yoongi was still impressed with the impact the fairy had on them. He too, of course, couldn't ignore the beauty of his melodic way of talking, but he didn't drop everything only to listen to a few words leaving his mouth. Apart from that, he still hadn't talked to him or anyone in the group since yesterday and he felt an awkward tension between them. This was the exact reason that he was walking way back, a few meters from Hobi and Jimin who walked together again quite some distance behind the youngest. When Jimin was done giving directions, everyone fell into silence and they kept going like this for a while until they arrived at a plastered way and no longer had to walk through the ankle-deep snow like before.

"We have to go left and follow the way about.... Well, it's fifteen minutes flying, but how long it'll take walking I don't really know. I'll tell you when we have to turn right, there's a sick tree by the road.", the golden-blonde explained and Hoseok and the others nodded.
"Hey, don't you want to talk about something? It's so strange walking silently beside each other.", Taehyung suggested since now that they weren't out in the open anymore, he and Jungkook were walking with Hoseok and Jimin. Only Yoongi wasn't really part of the group, but nobody said anything about it. He was glad, since he first, was still really tired and therefore grumpy, and second, didn't like walking very much especially not if he had to keep up a conversation as well – he wasn't the most sportive guy – and third was still kind of mad at Jimin and annoyed by Jungkook which also didn't lead to the best social activity between them. Still, he listened to their talk and tried his best not to fall too far behind. He didn't want them to see him as a burden because they had to wait for him, so he kept going and going. Of course, the youngest elf was very happy with the idea of the blue-haired and asked for Hoseok to tell them something about how things were in the factory since they only ever knew about their own unit whereas Hoseok was a superior and knew way more about the entire factory. Jungkook and Yoongi were only working on decorating the gifts, the maknae was meant for this kind of work because of his ability to color everything just the way he wanted by touching it, or snapping or whatever motion he wanted to use. That he was able to perform telekinesis as well, only made this more comfortable, since he could simply make everything that he needed come to him or help other than with the wrapping of the presents. Since Yoongi didn't have any kind of magic, he didn't have a real purpose and therefore had been assigned to this unit because they were in need of more people. Back then, Hoseok had secretly talked to Seokjin and Namjoon so that they agreed on keeping him there instead of letting him switch unit whenever someone was needed elsewhere.

It didn't take very long until the four of them found topics to talk about, and they were holding up quite a conversation about anything and everything, sometimes very serious and discussing and sometimes full of humor and laughs. Meanwhile, Yoongi was stumbling after them careless of where they were going. His mind was wandering off to Namjoon and what they'd argued about when they last saw each other yesterday afternoon. The blonde knew that he'd overreacted and that Namjoon didn't deserve being yelled at for doing nothing other than complimenting and encouraging him. Still, in the situation, he'd simply been clueless of what to do and he panicked because of the younger's honesty. Thinking about it now, he even started to understand what the peach-haired had meant by his words. It was true, he loved music more than anything in his life. More than life itself. When he was playing the piano, he finally felt complete and was able to forget about his sorrows and worries, even though he was still sad. The only person who actually changed that part of him was... He shook his head to get back to his original thought. Maybe Namjoon was right. Maybe he would be able to compose the song by himself, and make it a good one, too. He swore to himself that he'd at least try. He knew that once he'd start playing, he would go on and on even though he might not have a key to the song. Well, because it didn't exist yet. He was often creating songs of his own on the piano, sometimes with his eyes closed and just from the bottom of his heart, sometimes while thinking about what he wanted to express. Basically, all he had to do was write it down, which seemed like an impossible task to him. When he stopped the music, it was like he returned from another reality, how was he supposed to remember every note he played, what chords he'd chosen in the background and what harmonies defined the melody? He sighed heavily and closed his eyes for a moment. All of these things, he wouldn't be able to solve out here anyways so there was no reason for him to keep brooding about it. He didn't have the instrument here so there was no way he would be able to complete the song until he came back home.

Of course, it didn't stay unnoticed how absent the oldest of the company was and Jimin couldn't stop thinking about the blonde that was walking behind him, seemingly thinking deeply about something. He hoped that mentioned hadn't noticed how he turned around to look at him a couple of times in the last few hours of their walk. They paused for a while when it was around noon and then kept walking until they arrived at the edge of the forest that was their designation. It was already dark when they entered the trees and Taehyung was starting to whine a little: "My feet hurt, we should stop. It's already late, can't we just find a place to stay? We walked enough for today."
Jimin stopped abruptly to respond, but before he could say anything Yoongi bumped right into him and he stumbled forwards. When he turned around, the older was staring at the ground with a blush on his cheeks, mumbling an excuse and Jimin smiled a little. Wasn't he just too cute?
"He's right, we should find shelter and then just rest. We already came very far.", Hoseok brought him back to the topic he wanted to discuss, but again right before he wanted to say something, Jungkook spoke up: "But what about the wolves? They're in this wood, right? Wouldn't it be dangerous to just sleep here?"
At once, the blue-haired wrapped his arm around the maknae's waist and smiled at him comfortingly.
"Don't be afraid. They won't hurt us, I'm sure of that. This is just a forest and most of the animals are very nice and kind folk."
Quickly, Jimin responded so that no one would cut him off again: "He's right. No one here wants something from us. The wolves might be aggressive, but they're further in the north, I don't think that they'd come this close to the road. Let's go and find ourselves a comfortable place."

It didn't take all too long to find an open space that was covered in hardened snow and Hoseok started preparing their tents which he teleported from the barn of the Christmas-factory. Jungkook brought wood for a small fire and within a half-hour, they were all sitting around it, having dinner. Jimin had hoped that when they settled down Yoongi would finally include himself into the group, but frankly, he was wrong. The short elf sat a few meters away, looking at the food Hoseok had given him. Jimin watched how he played around with it for a while and then packed it up and put it aside before lying down and closing his eyes. He couldn't take his eyes off him even though he knew that it was more than impolite watching someone sleep, or at least falling asleep, but it was like his body didn't react anymore. In his head, two voices were arguing, one telling him to look at this beauty for the rest of his life and the other ordering him to stop, making him feel really guilty and like a creep because he couldn't look away. Just when Hoseok came over to him and looked at what he was watching, he could finally rip his eyes away, embarrassed about being caught by his Hyung.

"Why isn't he in the tent? Is he sleeping already?"
Jimin just nodded and didn't dare to connect eyes with the brunette, but judging from his voice, he wasn't at all suspicious as to why Jimin was staring at Yoongi. Maybe he hadn't even noticed.
"Well, then I guess I don't have to share a tent with anyone anymore. I'll go to bed as well. What about you?"
The fairy looked up at him when he was certain that his cheeks were no longer red.
"Alright. I'll wait out here. The others won't go to bed now anyway and someone has to take care of them.", he explained and Hoseok nodded while running his hand through his curly hair.
"Goodnight then. Take some rest, too, though!" With that, the older turned around and disappeared in his tent that was actually meant to be his and Yoongi's, but now he could use it all by himself. Jimin looked after Jungkook and Taehyung for a while who were sitting by the fire, talking and hugging each other. He wondered if they were already together and listened to their voices for a while until they decided to go to sleep.
"Jimin-hyung, are you coming?", Jungkook asked when they were about to go inside the other tent. The golden-haired looked up at him questioningly, when he understood. The three of them were supposed to sleep together. Still, he shook his head and smiled softly.
"I don't have to sleep. I'll stay out here and take the watch okay? Just in case. Apart from that, you two have some privacy in there, then."
He winked at them and saw how Taehyung's eye widened before the two of them quickly vanished inside, mumbling a short "goodnight" in the process.
