The dead bodies brought back many memories for Envy. She remembered her throat burning with screams and she sobbed beside her mother when she was still young, even now. She had cried when she killed her mom. After all it was her mother, she gave birth to Envy and even she left her to join the Dark Lord, Noire still meant the world to Envy.

"Envy?" Harry's soft voice spoke and she looked beside her. He plopped himself next to her and Envy immediately just broke down. "It's all over now, don't worry, we're all safe now."

"I killed her!" Envy cried out and Harry embraced her into a hug. It felt absolutely right to just be her supporting shoulder. "And then I...." She looked at her bloodied hands. "Couldn't save Connor from dying." Envy swallowed hard. "Why does this universe hate me so much? What have I done to deserve all this?"

"That's just life Envy. It takes you, chews you and spits you out like poison. It's always unfair." Harry sighed. "I couldn't save Sirius too. If I had compelled my legs to run faster, maybe I could've saved him."

Envy said nothing for awhile. They sat in complete silence before Envy looked up to Harry. She stared at him for quite awhile before she gingerly closed in on him. His lips brushed against hers and Envy kissed him. It felt right, she knew the timing was wrong but she couldn't bring herself to pull away. Envy felt at peace with herself for the first time. Envy then pulled away, feeling the need to breathe. They first stared at each other, not knowing what to say or do.

Harry then cracked a small smile. "I never liked Cho, or Ginny. I only said that because I couldn't tell you how much I loved you. I yelled at you, because I was confused. And when I saw you with Connor, my blood boiled." He sighed. "I'm sorry for your loss Envy, I really am."

"The night you asked me about me being serious with Connor, I wanted to say no. I loved Connor, a lot but I knew he wasn't the right one."

"And you think I'm the right one?" Envy gave him a small smile. She wasn't entirely sure but she'd take that risk. She'd take that chance. She was willing to do it.

"I don't know." She sighed, feeling his eyes on her. "But I'd really like to take the chance. What do you say Mr Potter?"

"I'd take the chance as well." He smiled back. And for the first time, Envy felt genuinely happy. She felt happy with herself, she felt happy with the outcome. Yes, Connor, Sirius, Tonks, Remus, Fred, Dumbledore and Snape all died but they died protecting the future of Hogwarts.

They died protecting them. They died for a cause, a good cause. And Envy wasn't going to let that go to waste just like that. She was going to take this and make something out of it. They didn't die for her to waste her life weeping over the fact that she had to kill her mother. Or the fact that she saw Connor die in her arms. No, she was going to make a difference in the world. She had to make a difference.

Envy knew she was forgetting an important thing. Something from her past that may explain where she had seen Remus and Sirius before. She just couldn't remember what. She knew it played a big part in her life, but no matter what she did, she couldn't bring herself to remember.

It had been years since the battle at Hogwarts and Envy now taught there, as the Potions Professor. Potions had always been her favorite subject and Severus had always been her favorite teacher. He was misunderstood, many people thought he would've betrayed Hogwarts and put the school in danger. But Severus did no such thing, in fact, he died protecting Harry and the school.

Envy could hear the tap-tap of feet against the wooden floor. "No running in the house!" She then heard a whine followed by a snort of laughter. She smiled to herself as she shook her head.

"When is the food going to be ready?" A voice piped up and Envy looked up from the pot to see her daughter, whom she named after her mother's best friend, Willa, enter. "My stomach is grumbling."

"Willa, honey. Stop exaggerating." Envy stirred the soup. "And the food should be ready in five minutes."

"Five minutes?! Bloody hell! That's a long time!"

"Language." Envy shook her head, pointing at Willa with the wooden spoon. "You need to stop spending your Summers with Ron. He's not a very good role model, I'm not entirely sure he even is one."

"He's my Godfather mom!" Willa screeched and Envy heard another pair of feet enter. "Plus he's fun. He let's me eat chocalte frogs unlike you." Willa mumbled under her breath.

"I heard that Willa." Envy said, turning the heat down a little. "Lily, be a darling and go fetch your siblings. You Missy, for your foul language, set up the table." Willa grumbled a bit but one sharp look from Envy shut her mouth and she immediately set to work, setting the table.

Envy walked up the stairs and lightly knocked on the door of Harry's office. Harry mumbled a 'come in' and Envy walked in.

"Dinner is ready." Harry looked up and smiled. He dropped whatever he was doing and stood up from his chair, and kissed Envy on the lips.

"Uh eww." A voice mumbled behind them. "Albus and Asher have done it again, but this time with glue. They're stuck." Envy sighed. She watched Lily leave and looked at Harry. He noticed she was tired.

"Don't worry, I'll sort it out." He gave her a brief smile before exiting the office and Emvy shortly followed. Once she reached the table, she began dishing for everyone and sat down for the first time today.

After a few minutes, Harry entered with Albus and Asher. Their hair stood out like spikes and a good chunk of hair was missing from Asher's head. Envy sighed. She had no idea how on Earth they keep on getting it right. First, they tried making their hair stand like spikes with lavender oil, it didn't work. It had just made their hair oily and greasy. Secondly, they tried magic. Fortunately, Willa stopped them before they could blow each other's faces off. And now glue.

"Oh boys." Envy groaned. "Must you always?" She heard Albus laugh until the three of them sat down. Envy made a promise to herself not to forget to sort this whole thing out after supper. She was extremely tired but she had to sort it out. And try to find out their motives behind such flagrant behavior.

But she knew one thing. All was well.
