I awoke to a gentle bobbing motion and I heard a voice "-yes she's here, yes, in my arms, yes, of course she's breathing! If she wasn't I'd call 911! No sorry I won't raise my voice, no please let dad drive your the only way I'm not freaking out," I opened my eyes my head was placed in Ryan's chest, I rolled my head back "hey, Baby," I whispered "Shade! Y-your awake! My god! Are you okay?." "I'm okay Ryan, but where's my sword?," "it's in my sheath don't worry," "okay," I took a deep breath and I whimpered "are you okay?," "my ribs, but it's fine," Ryan growled he opened his mouth but a car pulled up, it was Mr and Mrs. Shay Ryan opened up the door and put me in, I tried to move my arm I couldn't "why can't I move!," I growled "calm down Shade, you can't move because your body is too weak after the fight," Mrs. Shay sighed, she is a nurse and doctor in training at the hospital I hissed at that fact "it's okay Shade, your'll move again soon," Ryan soothed I hissed and closed my eyes, I was angry with myself, a Cattra should never lose "Shade?," Ryan asked I opened my eyes "yes?," "I'm gonna carry you inside," "okay," Ryan un clicked me and carried me inside, he placed me on a chair and sat next to me, Mrs. Shay came in with a first aid kit "Mrs. Shay-," "call me Bailey dear," Mrs. Shay replied "ok, Bailey check Ryan first," I replied "okay dear," she looked at Ryan, "Ryan, you need to take off your shirt," "okay," Ryan nodded and took off his shirt, Bailey looked surprised but started to run her hands up his sides and shoulders I met Ryan's eyes, he smiled at me, so I smiled back, after a few minutes Bailey grabbed a bandage roll and started to apply on some spots "okay Shade I'll be right back, then I'll check you," she walked out of the room, I lowered my head, "what's wrong?," Ryan asked "a Cattra should never lose, maybe Eric was right, maybe i'm not up to have a sword," "don't let Eric get I'm your head!," Ryan growled "you are the Cattra sword houlder! Don't let anyone make you believe your not," Bailey entered so I shut my mouth, "Ryan close your eyes," "why?," Ryan asked closing his eyes "Shade take off your shirt please," I nodded and took it off, with help from Bailey, She slid her hands up my sides, shoulders, and back. "Hmm, you have a few cuts, I think most of the blood had stopped flowing, and a few big bruises," "how are my ribs?," I asked "none are broken, or fractured, just bruised badly," "good," I replied. I looked over at Ryan his hand was stained with my blood, "sorry Ryan," "here put this on," I grabbed a shirt and I put it on. It was one of bailey, I smelled it, it smelled like Ryan, "you can open your eyes now Ryan," Bailey smiled, he opened his eyes and stood up, I heard a knock on the door mom Thor and Joy came in "don't touch her!," Bailey frowned Ryan sat next to me and place my body in a sitting position, "oh my poor baby!," mom almost cried "what happened?," Thor asked "I'll tell them Shade." Mom and Thor went over to bailey and Joy came over to us, "after I heard kinda what happened I thought you'd want something to take your mind away from the fight, so I went into your room and found it," Joy opened her purse and a black head popped out. "Crow!," I replied I tried to reach out to him, but Ryan lowered my hand and grabbed him, "oh Joy! Thank you!," I opened my arms for a hug and Joy awkwardly hugged me, but I know she wanted to so she did. ""How do you feel?," "aug like I was hit by a bus, then got hit by a second bus," I smiled "Shade," mom asked "yes?," "would you be fine sleeping here?," "no, I don't mind and yes I'll be fine, mister on-Shade-watch is here, but Crow needs to stay," "yes of course, I'll order some pizza okay," "okay!," Ryan and I smiled. The night carried on from that, we ate pizza, and then Mom Thor and Joy went home, we watched a movie, lion king 2! My favorite movie! Bailey let me change into one of her pjs and made a bed for me on the couch, "you've been such a good patient," Bailey praised its been a while since I've been praised "thank you, how long will I be really weak?," I asked "I'm not sure, not too too long," "okay, thanks," I sighed and laid down my head and sighed again. Crow laid on my chest, he purred and I started to doze off, I kept one eye open, "I love you Ryan my love, my warrior, and my deputy, I know your destiny was with Eric, to hunt me, but you caught my heart and I'm glad I let you in, you saved my life and I'll do anything to show my love, and in return save yours, Ryan Darkhbra," Ryan cringed when I said Eric's last name. "I love you kitten, but if you ever call me Darkhbra again I'll-I'll-," "calm down Shay," I laughed "take my love poem for you and forget-," "shh Shade, go to sleep kitten, talk soon," I grunted but closed my eyes, and fell asleep feeling Crows body in my chest, and Ryan's hand on mine. "I love you," I mumbled and Crows purring lulled me to Sleep.
