Lynn took a deep breath before she slid out of her car and walked inside the building. She thought that Dawn would have been there already but she had beat her there. She followed the waiter to a table and set waiting for Dawn to arrive. She was only waiting for one minute before she walked through the door. Lynn watch the woman walk toward her. Without breaking eye contact. She couldn't even if she wanted to. She slid into the seat across from her.
"Sorry that I'm late."
"You're not late I was just early." Lynn couldn't take her eyes off this beautiful woman sitting across from her. Her hair lay on her shoulders swaying with every movement she did. Her milk chocolate complexion complemented Lynn's caramel complexion. She has never been in a relationship with a woman before but hope that this woman was the woman for her.
She watched her every movement. The way her hands moved. She especially loved the way her lips moved. They looked so soft. She wondered how they would feel against her own lips.
"Lynn?" Dawn had a frown on her face.
"Yes? Did you say something?" Chuckling Dawn said.
"Yes. I asked if you were ready to order."
She looked just noticing the waiter standing there ready to take their orders. Once they ordered Dawn looked to find Lynn watching her again. She decided to make conversation.
"So tell me about you." Lynn smiled.
"What would you like to know?"
"Any and everything."
"Well I'm patient or at least I like to think that I am. Quiet most of the time loud some of the time..."
"Shy." Dawn cut in.
"I'm not shy."
"The way you said that tells me that you are shy. It's okay though. It's cute." For some crazy reason Lynn found herself blushing. She bit the corner of her bottom lip to keep from smiling but was failing miserably.
"You have a beautiful smile."
"Thank you."
"When did you come out?"
"Come out of what?" Lynn asked confused.
"When did you come out about your sexuality?"
"Oh. Well it was about 5 months ago."
"It was just five months ago that you came out?" Dawn asked surprised.
"Yeah. I was in denial for a very long time."
"What made you stop denying it?"
"Well when you fight something for so long you finally get tired of fighting and you just give in."
"Okay. So you've never been with a woman sexually?"
"Yes I have."
"Let me guess... Diana."
"What gave it away?"
"You're too shy to talk to a woman with you just coming out and all and Diana seem like the woman to do that." Lynn just smiled.
"So tell me about your family." Lynn asked changing the subject.
"Well I have two sisters and my mother. My father passed away when I was a teenager."
"Are you on your sister's close?"
"Yes for the best part. We have our differences though. What about you? Do you have any siblings?"
"No. At least not that I know of." Dawn raised an eyebrow at her confused.
"How would you not know?"
"Well I never knew my father so he could have a family out there I guess."
