"How was the rest of your day?" Dawn asked and Lynn smiled. She had come over that night like she said she would.

"It was interesting."

"How so?"

"Well before this afternoon they didn't know that I was dating a woman so seeing you come was a suprise to them."

"I kind of figured that when I was there. All the suprised looks gave it away. What did they say to you when I left?"

"Nothing much. Eric just apologised to me for coming on to me so much and not believing when I told him I was in a relationship. He promised to stay in his lane."

"Like he had a choice anyway." Lynn chuckled. She watched as Dawn got a text. The look on her face told Lynn that it was someone she wasn't expecting to hear from. She turned her phone off without answering the text. She forced a smile once she seen Lynn watching her.

"My sister." She said.

"You wasn't expecting to hear from her?"

"No. We haven't spoken for over a year now."

"Oh."

"We fell out over something that happened and she's trying to to rekindle some form of a relationship with me." She explained.

"Nothing should stop family from speaking."

"Yeah. I guess." She said praying that this conversation wouldn't go any further. She stood.

"I'm going to get going."

"You just got here."

"I have to get up early for work."

"Oh okay." Lynn stood following her to the door. "See you tomorrow?"

"Yes beautiful." They kissed and Dawn left. Lynn wondered if that text really was her sister.

"What are you doing texting me?" Dawn spat threw her phone.

"Well hello to you to." It was Brabra Dawn's ex girlfriend.

"What do you want?"

"You know what I want."

"I'm not a call girl. I'm not going to come running every time you're horny."

"Why not?" Barbra chuckled.

"Bye Barbra..."

"It was a joke calm down. I want to see you baby."

"It's not going to happen. Besides I'm in a relationship now." She laughed this time.

"Am I supposed to believe that?"

"I don't care what you believe but lose my damn number." She hung up on her. She wasn't going to allow her to ruin this relationship like she had ruined there's. She sighed once her phone begin ringing again. She already knew who it was.

"What do you want?"

"My birthday is in two days. You're going to let me spend it alone?" Dawn sighed.

"Is it my fault that you're going to spend your birthday alone?"

"No and Im sorry for hurting you. How many times do I have to apologize for that?"

"Until you get threw your head that I no longer want you."

"That's not what you were saying two months ago." Dawn sighed again.

"That was a mistake."

"No it wasn't. You wanted me just as bad as I wanted you. And I still want you Dawn. Please tell me that you'll spend my birthday with me." Dawn sighed again.
