"Good morning." Lynn watched as Diana entered the kitchen and poured some orange juice.
"Good morning to you." She watched as Diana moved around the kitchen. They may only be friends but Lynn found her to be very attractive. Her body was so seductive. Unable to resist she reached out placing her hand on her thigh. Diana looked down at her.
"How come we've never went further than that one time we had sex?" She asked.
"Because it was just for me to break you in Lynn, nothing more."
"Break me in." Lynn smiled finding her choice of words amusing.
"Yeah, you know I've been wanting to break that ass in for the longest."
"Okay so you "broke" me in as you put it. Why haven't we continued?"
"Because it was just a one time thing."
"But why?" She stopped what she was doing and stared at her friend. The woman was beautiful no doubt about it and the sex was great for a woman that's never been with another woman before. She was very smart nice and sweet. Damn was she sweet. She thought as she remembered the taste of her, but Lynn was looking for something she wasn't ready for. Love. She wasn't ready to fall in love yet. She wasn't sure that she'd ever be ready. And truthfully that word scared the shit out of her. Letting out a deep breath she said.
"Although we're friends Lynn we are two very different people. We're looking for two different things right now."
"Meaning?"
"You're ready to fall in love and I'm not. You're ready to get married and buy a house and I'm not. I'm fine where I'm at right now."
"That all may be true . I can't force you to fall in love with me Di. So what's the problem? I know where I stand with you, so your excuse of not being ready to fall in love is lame to me." On the inside Diana was smiling but on the outside she kept a straight face. She wanted Lynn to know that she was serious about her decision, but she was really flattered that she was still interested in her sexually. She thought she had forgot all about her when Dawn came into the picture but now she knew she was wrong.
"I just made my decision Lynn and I need for you to respect that."
"I have been respecting it and still do respect it. I just want to know why?"
"I told you why." Needing to change the subject she said. "How's Dawn?" Sighing Lynn allowed the subject to be changed for now.
"She's okay. Well physically she's fine, but I have a feeling something is bothering her and whatever it is it's not good."
"Why do you say that?""I've been calling and texting her for nearly three days with no answer then finally last night at three in the morning she calls me and ask to come over. When she gets here she's an emotional wreck. I can tell she's been crying before she came and it looked as if she wanted to cry when she got here. I kept asking her what was wrong but she wouldn't tell me. I told her that she could tell me anything but she still wouldn't say anything. When I woke this morning she was gone. I have a bad feeling about it. I just decided to give her time to breath and gather herself."
"Now that you mention this I have to tell you something that I think I seen a few days ago."
"What?'
"That night me and Tammi went out, I think I seen Dawn at the club also." Lynn waited for her to continue and when she didn't she said.
"There is nothing wrong with going to the club Di."
"She wasn't alone."
"Okay?"
