SKYLERS POV
Today has been the worst. She is going to pay! I can't believe she embarrassed me again!!! Ugh she's such a.... well nevermind.
When I get home my dad calls me into the kitchen.
"Hey honey. how was scho-" he suddenly stopped when he saw my puffy eyes. "What did she do to you this time?" He asks.
My eyes widen as I remember who he's taking about. "she embarrassed me at school!! In front of everybody in gym!" I became Inraged and my voice raised a few octaves. my dad rubbed small circles on my back, soothing me instantly. "Do I need to teach her another lesson, sky?" He asks me. I shake my head no. she's only become bitter because of me. it wasn't her fault her dad killed my sister. nor was it her mothers fault she hurt me, that time it was my fault. I decided I need to fix things between us.
I told my dad I was going out, and not to wait up if I wasn't back by 10. he agreed and kissed my cheek.

I walk up the drive and knock on the door. No one comes. I knock again, still no one comes. I ring the doorbell, someone comes. I'm enthused to see it's nicole. but I become disgusted to discover she's just come out of the shower.
"Hey..." I say, breaking the silence.
"Hi. um- I don't mean to be rude but why are you here-at my house-with concern and sorrow clear on your face?" She asked, clearly confused.
"I'm here to apologize, for ALOT!" I say, pausing. "can I come in?" I ask, hoping for a yes.
"Yea sure, just wait in the living room for a minute." I nodded as she ushered me into the living room.
About 5 minutes later she comes out in sweats. "so Why are you apologizing?" She asks.
"WELLLLL...." I trail off, then explain everything. by the time I'm done we are both in tears and hugging each other.
"Ok. I believe you. so that's why you stopped being my friend in kindergarten?" She asks when our crying fiasco has subsided. "yep" I say popping the 'P'. "ok so, now that that's over, can we be friends again. maybe even best friends again..." I ask.
She hesitates, and then breaks into the biggest grin I've seen on her face in years.
"OH YEA!!" She screams. I'm glad we're friends again. "okay! Sleep-over!!! Chik-flicks ice cream candy horror movies gossip!" We scream in unison. like we used to. "OOO!! Maybe, next time we can invite MK Jaime and samej. if that's ok." I smile and nod at her suggestion for next time. "ok sounds great, but tonight it's just us, catching up and having a good time." We each have happiness radiate off of us as we go to my house to get some chik flicks and my clothes. she has the horror movies. it may be a school night but who cares, I have my best friend back!
As we drive home, our favorite song, trouble, comes on by Nevershoutnever.
We sing along to the song,---

And then we get to her house. to bad! We were bonding! Whatever. time for our sleepover!!!
