The next day at school everyone was looking at sky and I when we walked in, arm in arm. Some people whispered, some gave is crazy looks. But skylar just flipped them off. we walked to our lockers, which evidently were right next to each other. We go to our assigned classes and wave good-bye.
For the next couple of days we were like "besties" then people started noticing.... My eyes.
My eyes are an.. Unnatural blue. They turn purpley-blue when I get too upset. Everyone started to spread rumors about....... Things. So I have to go to lee.
"Babe, I think we need to go." He said.
"But why? I have friends! WE have friends."
"Yes but we are mates and have a life together." He states. Darn it he's right.
"But where would we go?" I say. That'll stump him.
"France."
"Okay, let's do it. But we should wait till spring break. So no ones suspicious." I say. Yea good idea Nicole!
"Okay. We leave at break. That gives us..." He pauses, calculating it, " two weeks."
