"you kissed beomgyu hyung?!"

seeing the sparkle of delight in dongpyo's eyes made taehyun smile almost triumphantly. dohyun looked the same, but with a hint if confusion. wonyoung and kai were simply shocked.

"how many times?" dongpyo asked quickly. "was it nice? is he good? i thought he was straight."

"we all thought he was straight," wonyoung said, putting her pen down. "but aren't you dating eric oppa?"

"we broke up," taehyun said with a shrug, "due to some, uh… complications."

"so you're dating beomgyu now?" kai asked with a frown.

"how many times does he have to say it before it gets through to you?" dohyun asked with a raised eyebrow. "how did it happen anyways?"

"we were both upset, and the feelings just came out, i guess," taehyun mumbled, his cheeks turning pink.

"it's so cute though, since you two were best friends," wonyoung cooed, clasping her hands together. taehyun blushed darker and laughed a bit.

dongpyo was quiet for a bit. "wah… tae hyung is blushing a lot. hyung, are you getting sick?"

"i'm not sick," taehyun muttered quickly, trying to hide his face.

"nice try, hyung," dohyun teased, poking taehyun's cheek. "there's nothing wrong with dating your best friend. i think it's kinda cool that you're dating a friend. you two know each other really well, so it's difficult to make the other upset or angry."

"i'd want to date a friend — it's easier," wonyoung said with a smile. dongpyo widened his eyes and pressed his lips together as he looked at dohyun, whose cheeks were completely flushed red.

"i know a guy," kai said suddenly, earning a hit on the arm from dohyun. the taller laughed ans fought the younger off. wonyoung who was once confused, just shrugged it off.

"but would it last?" taehyun mumbled, chewing his lip nervously. "i mean, we like each other — a lot, in fact. but we know each other too well. the fun part of a relationship is getting to know each other further — but i know all about beomgyu that there is to know. so… we could have just stayed friends."

"yeah, but friends don't kiss each other and say 'i love you' while staring grossly into each other's eyes," kai reasoned.

"they don't?" dongpyo asked with a frown.

"aw, this kid is so innocent," dohyun teased.

"i'm older than you!" dongpyo complained. "and it's not my fault, i was raised under a strict household for so long, i never really… dated anyone. i don't know the rules about love."

"there are no rules — only circumstances," taehyun corrected.

"what is love?" dongpyo asked, his eyes sparkling again with that childish glow. he was just too innocent to be with them — dohyun could be rather dirty-minded and wonyoung understood most things, despite both of them being literally 5 years old.

"love is… a feeling," taehyun smiled. "it's that feeling when your heart reaches out to someone, like a hand, and it wants to grab someone else. you just want them. you need them beside you. you want them to hold you, to give you cute little kisses, to tell you that you look adorable or pretty. your heart beats fast around them, you get nervous quickly, you become shy when they say something nice to you — it's all of this that show that you might be in love with someone."

dongpyo bit his lips together. "then… maybe i'm in love, then."
