he was there sitting right next to me
would be chanted with his harmonies
dazzling smiles and showering stars
would be poured with his clownery
he was always on the front line cause i knew
he would always be on my team
he protects, he cares, he shares
he is the universe
but i couldn't gave him that
now i owe him the universe
hoping one day he will fall asleep
and wake up to an entirely new universe
where he owns every edge of life
i want him to stay
singing lullabies and dreamy melodies
i want him to stay
listening to my bandage and scars
i want him to stay
alluding love to every broken stories
i want him to stay
telling me all the jokes he kept in mind
i want him to stay
cause i know this is just another love story
