Hey! So, this imagine is what I want to happen, but never will. It's a nice one, like wholesome AF, I think you'll really enjoy it, nearly as much as I'm enjoying writing it!

Listen to the song I've put at the top, it's 'December Song' by George Michael, while reading if you want, or watch it separately, it's beautiful and it goes with this slightly, but I just love the track.

⚠️Not everything is accurate in this. Some are obvious, but other things not so. Just telling you. If your not sure if something is accurate just ask me ⚠️

It's Christmas, so Merry Christmas. Hope you all have a great time and if you don't celebrate Christmas then have a amazing day!

2019

You awoke on Christmas morning and, not to your surprise you were alone. Again. A regular occurrence most years.

Great.

You look at the clock. 9:25.

"Shit" you mutter. Throwing back the covers and brushing your hair, and quickly running into the bathroom, seems as you were the only one using it for a while you take your time, so you turn on the shower, then got changed into a dress, made your makeup look presentable and headed downstairs.

As you entered the kitchen, you turned on the kettle, boiled some water, and collected 3 mugs from the cupboard, the others won't be needed until later.

You once again checked the time. 9:55am.
Any minute now....

Once the water boiled, you placed teabags into the teapot and added the water, letting the flavour diffuse. (Listen to deez science wordz 😂😂)

You lean against the counter and sigh. Letting your mind wander to past events, memories. Some good, some not so. But all involving those closest to you. The loss, the joy of friends and family.

Suddenly, you heard the faint sound of keys to the front door, and then proceeded to hear it open and close. You walked out of the kitchen and ran to the hall.

"Sorry, I'm a bit late, dear, Traffic was awful,  Phoebe and I were stuck in a traffic jam for about 10 minutes."

A smile graces your face "It's fine, Fred. Did you get it?" You ask, looking at the bag in this right hand.

"Huh? Oh yes, yes. Can I put it down yet? I must tell you, It's doing my back in."

You stifle a laugh "Sure, put it on the side, in the kitchen I'll sort it out in a minute, old man."

Freddie have you a unamused glare "Your nearly as old as me."

"Exactly, nearly being the keyword" You say, then stick your tongue out afterwards.

"So, I'm gathering it's just you awake? Jesus, he's usually the first one to be up, he usually rings at 6 in the morning, if he's not here that is."

"Leave him alone, let the boy sleep. Come on let's put that in the kitchen"

The two of you head to the kitchen and place the turkey on the side.
