“Red!” Daisy called her while entering her room.

Red switched her eyes from the book which she's reading. “Yes?”

“Oh! You are reading? Did I bother you?” Daisy asked as she comfortably took a seat beside her.

“Not at all!” Red smiled for her benefit. “You are not, trust me.....” She squeezed her hand as an assurance.

“Well, I came here to tell you something......very important.” Daisy wasn't too sure how to make her understand her intention. A worry of something written over her face that exactly caught, Red.

“What's wrong?” Red was perplexed.

“What I am thinking is.......we have to find another shelter as soon as possible.” Daisy said making Red more confused.

“Why? Why do we want to find another one? Mr. Davidson called you again? Didn't he change his decision, did he?” Red was believing Adam had changed his decision to evict them.

“I don't know what's going on in his head. But I think we should....” Daisy stated doubting him partially. She was sure about his dangerous personality which she got a sense of it.

“Mr. Davidson seemed to be a dangerous man outside but indeed he's a nice guy. He could comprehend our situation. See, what he did. He just walked out without disturbing us.” Red exaggerated. She did fail to decipher the evil-minded man. She always finds the good in others.

Here also Adam turned out into a good man before her eyes.

Daisy chuckled in her description about him. Can't she remember how he was looking at her. Precisely, it's not in a good intention. But now, she was not planning to bring up her doubt. Maybe that will make Red sad.

“Perhaps he's giving us time to find another place.” Daisy still stuck on her point.

“But I still believe he's a nice guy. A dangerous nice guy!” Red giggled. Daisy smiled as well. She was really an innocent girl. Her innocence could be exploited by anyone.

“I wish he was....” Daisy took a pause as she thought something in her head. “Red!” Red turned around and raised her eyebrow, “If he comes next time, don't come outside. Stay in your room.” Daisy got on her feet ready to leave her room.

“Why? Will he eat me?” Red asked, smiling. She didn't get the meaning of Daisy's words. Maybe one day she would get it. But unfortunately that day was not too far.

“What's this?” Brian asked while sitting beside Adam who was reading some papers.

Adam took off his blue diamond eyes from the printed papers to Brian, “it's a contract.”

Brian raised his eyebrow, “contract? Which contract?”

“Yeah! For the orphanage.” Adam said casually.

“Contract for orphanage? And why?” Brian was not getting his point. “Since when did you start to make a contract without my help? I am your lawyer. So I should have known about this. Why didn't you tell me? Or did you appoint someone else in my place?” His annoying tone made Adam laugh.

“In your place? Umm.....in fact I have to think about it. Because you're being too bossy around me....” Brian had a scowl appeared on his face while Adam was grinning ear to ear.

“Don't worry, your place is safe.” Adam's eyes laid on the contract in Brian's hands. “The contract is in your hands. Why don't you just read it and find out what's in it.”

Brian dipped down his head to go through the pages of the contract. A frown appeared on his face as he read deeper into it.

“What the hell is that, Adam? Are you out of your mind?” Brian hollered throwing the contract upon the table.

“I am in my good sense, Brian. Do you think I will do anything without a profit? Actually it's a proposition. Both of us get the benefits. So there's no harm.” Adam said collecting the contract upon the table and once again eyeing it with a smug smile.

“No! You can't do this. This isn't a fair deal.” Brian scoffed.

“I can make everything fair.” A wicked smile crept on his lips.

“Of course you do.” Brian said sarcastically. “But I am sure they'll not agree with this bullshit.”

“I am afraid they have no other choice.” Adam mocked.

“I misunderstood you. I wondered how you could change in one day. Now I got it, what's going on in your evil head.” Brian showed his disappointment. He was not chime in with the contract.

“I am glad you did.” Adam threw his signature smile.

“Now tell me, what's your real intention behind this fucking contract.” Brian wanted to clear out.

“Well, you already know that I won't do anything without any profit. And here also I want something in return. And I will make sure that I get it.” Adam said vaguely.

“What do you want from that orphanage? There are some old women and children and the.......” Brian stopped as he got the reason. He turned his face to Adam, “....that girl?”

Adam smiled as he got a reminder of her. “That girl has a beautiful name, Brian.” He inhaled sensually like he's really breathing her scent, “Red.”

“Why her?”

“I am gonna pluck out the Red rose and spread it on my bed.”

“Adam! We don't need this. Look, she is an innocent girl and moreover she is an orphan. Please don't lay your devil's eyes on that poor girl.” Brian hollered.

“Not we, only I. I want this and I will. You don't need to get into this. I know how to make her agree.” Adam gritted his teeth.

“Of course threatening. Or what else you can do. And I don't get one thing when you get a good supply of women then why would you want to force someone.” Brian stood up angrily.

“Force her? Why would I?” Adam came to his level. “Do you think I would force myself on a worthless little girl? I thought you know me well. But you disappointed me.” He showed a fake hurt touching his heart.

“I know you better than anyone that's why I am telling you don't do this. I couldn't understand why are you so obstinate to fuck her. She's just a worthless piece of shit, then why?” Brian growled totally disappointed.

“I have fucked a lot of women before. You never intrude on any of them. But what changed now?” Adam didn't like the way, Brian poked his nose into his personal things.

“They're not women. They're sluts you had slept with. But she is different,” Brian pointed out. Unlike his friend he respected women.

“Every woman is a slut.” Adam spat with evidently his disrespectful towards the women. He just uses them and throws them. He did not even care about their feelings.

“Adam.....!!” Brian shouted letting his anger out. He clenched his fist trying to suppress the rising rage inside him.

Adam remained unaffected by his outburst.

“You're disgusting--” Adam cut off, Brian.

“Brian! It's over. Drop the topic now.” Adam finished off, “I have fucking decided she's going to be my new bed warmer.”
