“Red!” Daisy cried when she saw Red running downstairs frighteningly.

Daisy was highly doubting his sincerity and his behavior. Whereas she could not let go, Red alone in his home. Besides, Red blindly believed him. And she was too excited with his job offer. So she couldn't get his bad intentions.

After Red left there, Daisy took a cab and followed her secretly. She wanted to make sure about her daughter's safety. When she inquired about Red, the servant told her that their boss was taking an interview. So she decided to wait there.

“Auntie....!!!” Red threw herself to Daisy. She was surprised to see her auntie here. She was supposed to be in the orphanage. But here she was.

“Red, what happened?” Daisy inquired concerning a crying, Red. “Did he do something?”

Red said, shaking her head, “Let us get out of here first.” She could not stay any more here under the same roof with him.

“Okay, okay....let us go.” Daisy consoled her. Her eyes went in the direction of, Brian who was standing there like awestruck.

As if acknowledged about her glares, Brian held his head down not having the courage to face the woman. He was apprehensive of his friend's womanizing behavior.

After they left, Brian climbed the stairs to have a word with his friend. When he got inside, Adam was staring at himself in the mirror.

“Adam,” Brian caught his hand and turned him to look at, “What have you done to her? Why did she cry?” He was too angry, Adam.

Adam was burning in anger. He became stunned when she pulled that stunt. Nobody ever had done something like him. It was the biggest insult he ever faced. When he saw his face in the mirror he felt disgust towards himself. He was still in shock.

“Adam, I am talking to you.” Brian hollered.

“She--” Adam was too ashamed to say that out loud.

“What has she done?” Brian snapped.

“That filthy bitch spat on my face.” Adam's hoarse voice reverberated against the walls. His eyes were bloodshot and his sharp jaw clenched. It seemed like he would kill her the very next second if he caught her.

Brian's eyebrows narrowed, “She spat on your face?” That he could never believe.

“Yes, yes, yes......” Adam spat it out. “That little bitch spat on my face. That little orphan spat on this face of Adam Davidson.” He said pointing to his own face. “How dare she? Who I am, a fucking billionaire. And who she is, nothing but an orphan.”

“I can not believe it. She can not do that.” Brian knew she could not do that. She was not a girl like that.

“You do not believe me? You think I am lying?” Adam rebuked. He was hell angry at her. And then, his friend was taking her side.

“No, I believe you. I know you can not lie to me. But, it is hard to believe.” Brian was confused whether to believe it or not.

“I will make her pay for this.” Adam decided to make her pay for what she had done. He could forgive anyone but her. No, he could not forgive her.
