“Ms. Ashwell, please stay back here. He will meet you when he is free.” The butler informed his master's order.
“Thank you.” Red passed him a weak smile as he left her alone in the large living room.
Her hidden tears streamed into her eyes when she thought about the situation which led her to his domain. Yes, now she was in his home. It's not her decision, but that situation made her choose the wrong.
She wiped off the tears which sprung out of her eyes as she got a reminder of what happened in the orphanage.
“What will we do?” Red implored.
“We have no choice other than obey him,” Daisy said in a disappointing tone.
Adam informed them about his final decision regarding the orphanage. They have to leave the place the next morning. He used again the strongest weapon against her to make her surrender in his feet.
After that incident in the night, she didn't dare to continue the job. Besides, Daisy also forbade her to continue the job. She was not happy with her job which she was hidden from everyone. Now they're in poverty. Everyone has been suffering the aftermath of his rage. And top of it all, his final verdict.
“It's all because of you, Red.” Katherine wailed, she was another staff member of the orphanage.
Red stunned by her blaming. While Daisy was too shocked to say anything.
“What are you talking about? I didn't get what you meant by I am the reasonable person for everything.” Red couldn't help but ask.
“Because you are!” Katherine said remorselessly.
“Katherine, what's wrong with you? This is our Red. You are talking like she had done something wrong that made him make such a decision.” Daisy rebuked. How could she be quiet when somebody accused her Red?
“Because I am well aware of what happened between both of you.” Katherine screeched looking at a perplexed Red. “If you didn't refuse his offer, he wouldn't take such a decision.”
“Katherine!” Daisy yelled.
Red felt like she had been defeated by her own family member. Obviously Katherine was her family but it's something beyond that never expected from her side.
“I won't say, you should sleep with him. But I would definitely say, you should have to do something for us...” Red didn't say anything as if she was frozen at her place.
“You don't have to think about any elders, just leave them all behind. Because we all know how to live outside the orphanage. But our kids, what will they do? Where to go? Who will take care of them? That's why I am telling you, you must think about them.” Katherine was too aware of what she had been yelling but here she decided to be the selfish woman for the sake of the orphan kids.
