The little white wolf passes out in front of me but doesn't shift. Wolf and I both know this is our mate. She's covered in blood making her white coat appear pink. I frantically search her body looking for any signs of bites or any open wounds but find none. I give out a huge sigh of relief knowing that the blood isn't hers.

"Baby, you've gotta stop doing this to me." I whisper in her ear as I pick up her wolf form in my arms and carry her out of the warehouse.

On my way out we bump a crate over. Spilling silver bullets all over the floor. "You've got to be fucking kidding me." I utter continuing out the door. Waverly's well being is more important right now.

My group is just entering the warehouse clearing when we make it outside.

"Oh God, that's not-" Austin starts.

"Flynne. You and the guys clean up the warehouse. You'll know what to do." I give him a concerned look. "Austin, accompany us home and fill me in on how you were incapable of handling 3 wolves alone."

Getting back to the pack house I carry Waverly straight towards the pack exam room again. One of Taylor's assistants meets us.

"Where the fuck is Doc?"

Popping his head out of his office. "Dex? I wasn't expecting..who's-"

"It's Waverly." I say brushing past them both to the exam room. I lay my little white wolf gently on the exam table.

Taylor comes in adjusting his coat and tossing his stethoscope around his neck. "You're sure this is-"

"I'm sure."

"Fascinating." Taylor exclaims a little too excitedly.

"What?"

"Well she shouldn't be able to shift. Let alone into such a remarkable form of Canis Lupus Arctos. Very rare in werewolves. Just stunning." He rambles on stroking her side. I can't help the possessive growl that escapes me. He jerks his hand back. "She doesn't appear wounded, but a lot of blood.."

"Why hasn't she shifted back?" I ask.

He takes his stethoscope and checks her breathing, grabs a light and checks her eyes, continuing a thorough once over while jotting notes on a pad.

"For some reason she appears to be having difficulty. Probably why she's still currently unconcious. I do have something that could induce her shifting..but no knowing how her human form will handle a shift. However, her current form appears very strong."

"Shifting back would wake her then?"

"I believe so. But-"

"Do it." I order.

"Yes Alpha." Taylor rummages through a couple drawers. He finds a needle and syringe then grabs a bottle out of a cooling cabinet. Getting everything together he takes her front leg and searches for a vein. Just before he inserts the needle he looks up to me. "Prepare yourself Alpha." He sticks the needle in her vein and injects the fluid before taking a step back.

Her bright blue eyes dart open and her wolf body starts to shake. The sound of bones cracking starts and her wolf yelps. The yelps quickly turn into screams. Hearing our mate in pain I cant help but let out a whimper myself. Waverly now lays in front of me on the exam room table. Naked, bloody and out of breath.

"D-Dex?" She questions breathlessy.

I rush to take her hand. "I'm here Waves."

I hear Taylor rustling around in a drawer again. He grabs out a thin blanket and brings it to me. Careful to keep his eyes averted he places it in my hands. I wrap the blanket around Waverly and she presses her head to my shoulder.
