Midnights!

Chapter 9.

I stood at the bottom of the hall in a long light purple dress with long vail sleeves that had a flower pattern. The sleeves had a finger ring that joined with my middle finger on both hands. My shoulders and top chest along with my neck was exposed. The dress reached the floor but with my yellow small heeled shoes lifted it up and made the dress stop at my ankles. My hair grown over the months and ended just over my shoulders around 14 inches long. I was kept down and had a yellow hair clip in the side of my hair on the left. The light purple dress itself was simple and plain but very pretty. Captain violet a friend of James helped place a little make up on me.

I stood in the hallway a little tensed and nervous since I never really dressed up before, after all when it's the end of the world and your being hunted by monster you don't dress up much. I could hear the guys way before they turned the corner.

I won't lie it was surprising to see the four guys in fancy suits. JJ was in a 1904 Tennant Grey Pinstripe Suit Jacket with grey shirt and with a red tie cover in blue spots. Kieran was in a Black Essential Slim Fit Tuxedo Suit Jacket with a white shirt and with a black tie, his hair was gel to be flat instead of spikey. James was in a Moss London Slim Fit Black & White Sky Check Lightweight Jacket a white shirt and with a red tie, his hair was fluff up a little.

But my breath was hitched as I turned to max. He was wearing a Ted Baker Tailored Fit Blue Jacket with a black shirt and a lose silver tie that was hanging by the second button. His hair was stayed the same, he kept his little side fringing hiding part of his right eye. But instead of looking like his normal goofy self, he was handsome. I didn't notice I was staring until his eyes met mine.

"wow" He whispered as he turned to me.

It seemed his own breath was away as he looked me over, a small blush covered his cheeks before he quickly glanced away.

"well who are these good looking men" I asked with a smirk and they all walked over with grins. "well who is this lovely lady in front of us, I thought we were meeting our friend mika not a lady" Kieran grinned making me giggle. "you look wonderful mika, I didn't even recognise you at first glance" James smiled brightly with his hands behind his back. "I'm not alone, you all look great" I smiled while JJ, James and Kieran acted all shy. "well we all look awesome, who ready to party" JJ smiled and waved his hands a little.

We all started walking towards the hall talking about the party and how we thought the night might go. Well Kieran was mostly talking about meeting hot chicks, James talked about wanting to meet famous attackers or finders and JJ was just overjoyed. I notice max has been silent and won't even look at me since we met in the hallway and I start to panic.

I don't know why but I would hate it if something happened between us. I wanted to stay by him and I was scared while he stayed silent. So many things were going through my head while we walked and I wondered if it was because I didn't look nice in the dress or something. He good at lying but I guess he would try not lie to me since I always know when he lying.

"Max" I whispered, I guess my distress was in my voice before he turned to me with worry. "everything ok" max asked getting more worried while I just looked at him. "oh um yeah, I was just worried about you" I replied and he stopped walking making me do the same. "about me" I mumbled and looked to the ground. "no, I was just entranced by you after all your" Max started to say with a soft smiled but soon stopped himself when our eyes met, I noticed his cheeks turn a rosy red. "after all" I asked unsure but keeping my eyes looking into his light green eyes.

"your beautiful" He smiled warmly with a slight blush and I fell my own cheeks warm up.

"are you gonna kiss or what" Kieran asked with a grin as the three guys stood a couple feet away watching. "if you're going to make out then hurry up since we gonna be late for the party" James smiled making me and max blush more. "oh, they went red" JJ smirked before all three of them laughed at us.
