Today was the day, Beej was going to talk to Adam. Lydia would be watching from a distance with her notebook taking notes. She knew she'd make sure to! Lyds basically Became a fangirl...
Adam was sitting in the attic, probably working on something, unaware that Lydia and bj were outside the door waiting to take a good chance to walk in.
Bj was really concerned and nervous that he'd say something wrong or that Adam would misinterpret what he was saying. "What if he doesn't like me?!What if I offend him?! What if....what if Barbara finds out.." he said.
Lydia smacked him, instantly regretting her decision. She immediately hugged him tightly. "Oh my god I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?!"
He nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah I'm alright.." Beej answered. 'Jeez kid can pack a punch' he thought.
"I'm sorry bj I didn't mean to hurt you, just stop worrying!"
Lydia had always tried her best not to keep secrets from Beetlejuice but this time she did. Before the two met up to talk to Adam, Lydia told Barbara about the situation. She left Adam, but promised he'd always be there for him no matter what. Barbara didn't really tell Adam why, so both her and Lydia felt guilty.
Lydia pulled away from the hug and looked up at her stripey demon. She nodded at him then he did the same, exhaling to calm down.
Beej turned to the door and opened it hesitantly.
