When Yoongi came back to his senses, he was back in the abyss.

White fog swirled around him. There was no sound, except for his heavy breathing.

He was laying on his side, but he quickly flipped himself over and got to his feet, searching the endless plane wildly.

He strained his ears, trying to hear. He didn't want to shout and reveal his location, but something told him D already knew exactly where he was.

Fuck, fuck, fuck he couldn't believe this. He never once suspected Jack would be behind all of this. He was just a kid! But he was a kid who had killed people. A serial killer, whose best friend was a ghost. It sounded like the plot to a shitty 90s movie, not Yoongi's nightmare.

He tensed up, sensing someone behind him.

He slowly turned, and saw D standing there, smirking at him with his hands in his pockets.

"Miss me?" The demon asked sweetly. He was wearing a crown this time, as if celebrating his victory against Yoongi already.

Yoongi didn't know what to say. He couldn't run, D was in control of everything in this place.

D walked slowly over, taking his time. Like he was taking a stroll in the park.

"Surprised?" He asked. "They always are. When will the world learn to take kids more seriously? They could have avoided so many deaths if they would just listen. But no one ever sees ghosts or kids as a threat." He shrugged. "But their stupidity is my gain, so I guess I shouldn't complain."

Yoongi glared, standing his ground. "Or maybe you shouldn't be doing this shit, that would save lives too."

"I'm just trying to fix an injustice done to me." D said innocently. "You would want revenge too, if you were murdered."

"I would, but I wouldn't do this." Yoongi spat. "It's terrible what happened to you, but one life lost is not as bad as multiple lives lost. How many years have you two been doing this? How many have you guys killed?"

Agust pretended to count on his fingers, before giving up. "Who cares, a lot of them were people who deserved to die anyways." He looked Yoongi over. "You were the most interesting, though. I'll admit I'll be a little sad to see you die."

Die.

Death.

For some reason, Yoongi didn't want to die anymore.

Maybe it was because he had friends who cared about him now, and someone he liked in his future, but he wasn't the same Yoongi who had crashed into Jack that fateful day. That Yoongi wouldn't have put up a fight here, but this new Yoongi was prepared to defend himself.

Agust rolled up his sleeves. "Right, well let's get started." His eyes glittered. "This is always my favorite part."

He struck so suddenly. Yoongi had no time to dodge. One moment he was ten feet away, the next, he was right in front of Yoongi, fist outstretched.

The punch knocked the air out of his lungs, and he went flying backwards, landing painfully on the ground and rolling a few times, before finally coming to a painful stop.

He coughed, trying to wrap his mind around what had just happened. Shakily, he pushed himself up and turned his head to look at Agust, who was calmly walking over, hands back in his pockets like nothing had happened.

"What are you doing over there?" He laughed. "Come on so we can fight!"

Yoongi struggled to his feet, still wheezing. He raised a hand to his mouth. It came away bloody.
