Chapter 11: Fallin'

I'm havin  fun hanging with Genesis. She a chill girl. I like that. Too bad she's involved with Tyler, that nigga wouldn't know what to do with a good girl if she danced naked in front of him. Genesis was different. I know that. We both know that.

She's shy yet outgoing. She's very down to earth and beautiful. Am..Am I falling for her? Naw. I can't be. She's Tyler's and I dont want to deal with him even though he doesn't deserve her. Fuck, man. Fuck.

''Thebe?'' Genesis said, sitting down next to me. Her hair lazily sat on her shoulders. It was a cool color.

''Yeah?'' I said, leaning back observing her more. I like her style. She dressed like a skater and rocker.  She told me that she colored her bang green for Tyler.

''Thanks for making me feel better.'' She smiled. Her smile is fucking gorgeous. Tyler seriously doesn't know what he's missing.

''You're welcome.''

''You're like my best friend.'' She smiled. I felt like my heart shattered. Did this bitch just friendzone me? No, calm down Thebe. That's how it all starts. You gotta be friends first, the fuck buddies, then a couple. It's the circle.

''I'm down with that.''

''Aye Fag, what you doing here?'' I heard a male voice yell. I turned around and saw my niggas Hodgy, Left Brain, Lionel and Trenton walking towards me and Genesis.

''What's up?'' I shook Hodgy's hand. They then turned to look at Genesis. Lionel started laughing.

''I know you're ugly ass ain't here with her.'' He laughed. Genesis covered her mouth and laughed. Trent then slid next to her and everyone else sat down.

''Yeah. Why are ya'll here?'' 

'' We just got back from picking Trent up and he wanted to ride the train and shit.'' Hodgy said. This nigga decided to get both sides of his nose pierced. How sus is that?

''Hey, I'll be back.'' Genesis said, slideing from beside Trent and I. She then grabbed her purse and headed to the restroom. After she disappeared, Hodgy gave Trent some money and told him to go get some icecream. When Trent got up, they all looked at me. I already knew what was finna happen.

''Ight Nigga, Who's the girl?'' Hodgy said crossing his arms.

''That's Genesis.'' I said cooly. The guys looked shocked. They felt the same way that I did when I first saw her.

''Yo. She cute but It's fucked up what ya'll doing.'' 

''It's not me tho.'' I said, swirling my fries in ketchup. He was right.

''And T's probbably somewhere with Danielle. Poor Girl doesn't know how trifiling that nigga is.'' Hodgy shook his head and drunk some of his gatoraid.

''That and he doesn't like black girls, so it's worse.'' Left said putting his arms behind his head and leaning back. 

''Man, I hope this shit don't blow my high.'' L laughed. 

''But I'm thinking about telling her...'' I said, a little above a whisper. Hodgy, Left, and L looked at me with the biggest eyes that I have ever seen. I felt bad about how this whole thing was.

''What? Why? You ain't falling for this girl, are you?'' L said.

''No but She's too good for Tyler. He don't deserve her.'' I said. Maybe L was right. Maybe I am falling for Genesis.

''Aw fuck, Thebe.''
