(Genesis)

I had so much fun at the concert last night.  It was just as wild as I imangined but even wilder than in Atlanta.  I made sure to get a whole bunch of pictures. I also bought me some odd future merch.  I have to admit,  the most interesting part of the night was going back stage and meeting Tyler,  The Creator.  Im still shocked from the fact that he even asked for my number. Maybe it was just a joke.

The bus ride back home was long and hot. Rita was already sleep and we've just been on the bus for about an hour and a half. As I started dosing off,  my phone vibrated indicating that I got a text. It was from a number I didn't recognize.

Hey, Genesis,  It's Tyler.

I almost screamed when I got the text. I looked next me me to make sure I didn't wake up Rita from me jumping up. I was surprised.  Was it really him?

Hey, What's up?

He texted back almost immediately.

Bored.  What are you doing?

Heading home.

Home?

Yeah, I'm not from Tennessee.  I  live in Alabama.

I put in my headphones. I played 'Golden' by Jill Scott. I was eager to text him but I didn't want to seem desperate.  I did wanna know why he didn't text back as fast.

Oh.  I kinda wanted to hang out with you. Maybe when you get home, I can come see you?

You would come all the way to Alabama to see me?

Yeah.

I couldn't believe it.  This had to be all a dream. Tyler, The Creator was willing to come thousands of miles from home just to see me.  I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even notice that we were almost in Birmingham.

When we arrived,  I grabbed my luggage and headed towards my car.  Rita followed me so that I could take her home. We said our goodbyes then I headed into my apartment complex.  It felt good to be home. As soon as I opened the door,  I was greeted by the cool air in my apartment.  I started unpacking.  I was so busy,  I didn't even notice my phone ringing. My heart started beating fast. It was Tyler.  I quickly answered.

"Hello?  "

"Why didn't you text me back? "

"I'm sorry,  It was a lot stuff going on."

"Yeah.  Have you arrived home yet?"

"Yes. I'm unpacking now."

"Good,  I'll be in Alabama tomorrow." He said.  There was a lot of moving going around in his background. I didn't know how to feel about what he said. I was excited but I also had to clean up.

"Okay."

"I got to go. I'll call you later Genesis. Bye."

I hung up then flopped on my bed. I was tired. I had time to sleep,  It would be a long ride from Los Angeles to Birmingham. I'm sure I could procrastinate just a little bit.
