Chapter 8: Secrets in the Shadows

I woke up in the middle of the night.  It was Odd, I usually don't wake up without a reason. Tyler had his arm across my stomach and his head on my chest. He was snoring loudly. I eased my way from under him and headed downstairs Where I heard his phone ringing. I was confused on Why it was downstairs, I thought he brought it back up.

Why it was down here wasn't the biggest question.  Who could be calling this late?  Maybe it was one of the wolves, but what would they want,  it's gotta be important. 

I grabbed his phone and saw that he had 20 unread messages and 31 missed calls.

'Woah.' I thought to myself. ' Someone must really wanna talk to Ty. ' I wasn't the type to go through personal belongings but I was somewhat curious. Of course,  Tyler had a number lock on his phone but I got him to tell me it. Before I Could unlock it, Tyler came downstairs.

"Bae. " He said wiping his eyes. He didn't have anything on but some donut boxers and some donut socks to match.  "What are you doing up?"

"I heard your phone ring but it was down here.  " I said handing his phone back to him. He looked angry and tossed his phone on he couch.

"Just go back to sleep. " Tyler wrapped his arm around my neck. He was really warm. "Everything is Alright. We got a big day tomorrow. "

He kissed me and then pushed me upstairs.I went back up stairs, grabbed Darnell, and climbed in the bed. Something wasn't right. Tyler stayed in the living room for about thirty minutes until he decided to come back up. He climbed into the bed   kissed me on the cheek.  Then went to sleep as if Nothing happened.
