Chapter 2

Kai ran through the hallways,guards shooting at the SCP that had escaped,soon-other SCPs started to breach containment.Alarms were blaring like crazy,slightly almost deafening.Blood and guts had started to splatter everywhere,multiple guards had already been murdered by SCP-096,what's weird is that a some sort of conrete peanut standing at the end of the hallway.

When the lights flickered,the statue had moved from it's original spot,then a snap was heard.Kai realized that a guard's neck had been snapped by that weird SCP that she had saw.As she wondered around the hallways being calmed down after seeing no SCPs,the hallway she went into ended up having puddles or a splattered black substance on the wall.

Her glasses accidently slipped into one of the puddles,completely making her glasses disintegrate.She backed away from the puddle,knowing that she can no longer see from afar.

She walked back from the hallway she was originally in.All the guards had been killed,SCP-096 was hurled up into a ball,sobbing.And as much as possible,Kai avoided making eye contact with the SCP,she did notice that weird peanut-looking SCP had been gone.

Footsteps was the only thing to be heard in the long hallways,Kai had started to get paranoid and anxious about roaming these hallways.She had now started to hear two voices at the end of the hallway,sadly she dropped her glasses into a puddle and ended up disintegrating,and she could't see the figures quite clearly.

The more she got closer to the entities,they became for visible for her to see.Before she could realize if those figures were SCPs or not,one of the figures noticed Kai silently walking towards them,"Doc,be careful." one of the figures had said,walking infront of the other entity.Kai realized she screwed up,as she heard the voice a little bit louder since she was near,it was an echoey voice.Kai tried to run away after hearing it but,a tentacle wrapped around her waist part.

She panicked,trying to push the tentacle off her,although she was too weak.The tentacle proceeded to pull her towards the two entities,when she was finally in personal view of the anomalies,she panicked badly.And she could'nt call for help because of her stuttering,"Mask,please do not scare someone like that.Please let go of her."A voice of what seemed to be slightly cold,but still fairly calm,"Doc,are you sure she's NOT harmful?",The mask SCP had replied.

From this point,Kai had already been slipping off the tentacle after the SCP had said that,her feet had reached the ground safely but she was still not sure of her own safety,"Hello,may I ask,what is your name?" the anomaly wearing what seemed to be a plague doctor mask.

Kai stuttered her name,she was'nt really nervous from time to time.If she was,she would stutter alot,"M-my name is K-kai.",She had replied,"Ah,lovely name you have there,you can call me 049." 049 had somehow trusted Kai already,although from the looks of the other anomaly,it did'int trust her unlike 049.

The mask sighed,it was'nt always able to trust people easily.But then Kai had spoken up,"Are-Are you two friends?" she had asked,both of the anomalies had looked at eachother before one of them answering,"Yes.",Kai was'nt informed that SCPs could be friends with other SCPs,"We have been friends for a very long time." 049 had said.

Still,the mask was silent,although it seemed to be looking at 049 because you can tell,since its tilted it's head towards the plague doctor.Kai felt weird seeing anomalies being friends,she did not mind it though.

After a few minutes of talking and walking in the hallway,Kai was behind the two anomalies infront of her,she had found out that the mask's name was 035.As they were walking,Kai noticed the two anomalies holding hands,she could'nt help but silently say "Awe.",but then a different set of footsteps could be heard by both the two anomalies and Kai.
