Chapter 26

Avery's POV.

" I cant believe coach! She want us to practice this afternoon after kagabi na meron pa kaming hangover lahat!!" I heard Agnes na not so happy sa sinabi ni coach sa kanila bago kami umalis sa bahay nila Summer.

"Babe, you know malapit na ung season, Im glad nga pinayagan ako mag off ng maaga kahapon." Kuya said while driving us to Summer's condo para unang ihatid yung gf nyang nagmamadali magpahinga kase may training pa sila sa hapon. "Im glad malakas din si Summer kay Coach. That girl really has a charm in every person na makilala neto"

All the students and professors in Greenfield Uni love Summer. Summer really have something in her that everyone loves. Sya lang naman ung hindi nakakapansin ng hatak nya sa tao.

"Thats Beb you're talking babe. She's so amazing that every man and woman will want her. Mabuti nga i met you because kung hindi, hanggang ngayon, i'll be crushing all over her".

"What??!! No way! you never told me you have a crush on your bestfriend."

Napapangiti ako sa interaction ng dalawa. Di ko masisi si Agnes na magkacrush kay Summer, kase kahit ako.. nafall din ako sa charm na dala neto.

I've been hiding this feeling since we first met. Im so drawn into her starting that day.

Luckily sa akin kase shes friends with Kuya. I heard about her noon kase minsan madalas nila etong pinag-uusapan but i never met her before kase sa US din ako nag-aral nong nandito sya sa Pinas.

Nong nacross ung landas namin, i know na she's Summer na kinkwento nila Agnes at ni Kuya , naconfirm ko pa lalo un ng malaman ko sa school ID nya. Im glad na we're taking the same course kaya mas lalo ko syang nakilala, di lang basta sa kwento nila, but i witnessed it with my both eyes kung gaano sya kabuting tao. Kahit shes cold at first sa taong di nya feel.

Im trying to hide this feeling for months now because i dont want to risk our friendship.

Simula nong malaman ko ung buong kwento nya nung nalasing sya, mas lalo ko syang minahal and nagiging overprotective na ko sa kanya kase shes so precious na konteng sakit lang sa kanya, she'll be broken again.

Summer look tough, but when you look it inside shes so fragile.

Kaya I hate myself for hurting her sa pagdistance ko sa kanya. The way she hugged me kagabi, alam kong nasaktan ko sya sa lowkey na pag-iwas ko dahil lang sa nakikita kong nagiging close na ulit sila ni Sofia.

But i want to protect myself from her too. So when time comes na lahat ng hinala ko magkatotoo, di ako masyadong masasaktan kase ineexpect ko na.

"Of course i have a crush on her from the start, kahit di pa kami mag kaibigan. Shes a fine woman babe. At alam ko na di lang naman ako nakakita nun, diba Ave?" Agnes look at me with that knowing look kaya ngumiti nalang ako sa kanila kase alam ko they know all this time, na ako lang hinihintay nilang umamin.

Ngumiti ako ng pilit sa knya kase alam ko kase sarili ko na kahit gustong gusto ko si Summer

"Yep. She's a fine woman Kuya. Everybody wants a piece of her even me" i honestly told them like its not a big thing from me. pero deep inside, i want her so badly, pero i cant... her and i will never be happen

Kuya smiled to me at tumango.
"Im glad you're crushing to the right person Ave. Took you long enough na umamin sa amin"

No. Its not just a crush a kuya. Im falling pero walang sasalo.

Tumingin din sa akin si Agnes at ngumiti ng nakakaloko.
"Yep. We knew from the start. We're just glad u admitted it. Pero Im still very disappointed at you. You need to level up your game Ave. Sofia want her back, and hinahayaan mo lang sya."
