Lily's pale hand had reached out to open the door of the office when she heard Temin's footfalls quickly exiting the room via the window. She opened her lips to tell the woman to be careful, but quickly closes it as the she seemed out already. Blinking, Lily closed her eyes to take a second to remind herself that both Elias and Temin were more then capable of fighting and keeping themselves alive while protecting the house's members. But it still made the woman nervous. Hunters carried silver, and other various weapons designed to kill supernaturals.

She bites her lower lip slightly feeling torn between what she should be doing, and what she felt she needed to be doing. She wanted badly to follow Temin and Elias through that window and do dome serious ass kicking! Was it not enough that these hunters had killed her mentor? Killed a beloved leader who had been here for nearly five centuries? Was it honestly not enough that every supernatural was in hiding because humans could not bare the thought of sharing this world? Lily's anger spikes, her blood boiling even more with rage.

'Remember to remain calm. Otherwise you'll end up getting killed. You may be strong enough to pick up a boulder, but the same boulder can still snuff out your life.'Lily inhaled slowly, then exhaled. The late mentor's words came back and felt like they were ringing in her ears. A fresh wave of grief striking her heart again as it ached. A friend, mentor, father figure. Lily steels herself against her mounting rage, forcing a calm. Though with Zane's antics, she becomes at least somewhat distracted by him. Quirking a brow at him as he seemed to stifle something....a burp maybe? Though when he quickly slid the corpse of the hunter out the window, she wonders for a moment if the body hit the neat hedges at the ground level below the window. Elias had worked very hard to keep them trimmed. She'd hate for his efforts to go to waste..

Before she could really think of much else though, the veiled sentinel was right there with her seeming content. Her lustrous blue eyes connected with his own glowing grey ones. His presence distracted her enough from the rising anger the phoenix within her felt. She tears her gaze from his and opens the door. Only responding with a soft chuckle at his comment about manners. The vampire's smile was regal, and it made her want to smile back. At his next comment though, she spoke quietly, while still trying to remain calm. "Thanks to you, and Temin. And probably Ellias as well as Shantellias too if they had gotten into the office sooner no doubt." She sighed a little, shaking her head. "I hope no one else get h-.." Before she finished speaking though, Lily heard Ellias' roar of pain and anger. Stopping in her tracks she stares towards the window.

Remembering his words, and knowing Temin was out there with him...she forced herself to remain calm and to not go recklessly out that window. 'Please be okay.. Please be okay.. Please be okay..'She pleaded in her mind over and over again. Was peace really so hard to bare? These hunters were ruthless in their near constant raids and assaults. She felt helpless when her members were in danger like this. She glanced towards Zane briefly. A big worry wart is what Shantellias often called her. But Lily couldn't help it. Before she could really begin to walk out of the office room though, one of the lighting fixtures explodes into a puff of sparks. Certainly not...normal.

She blinked feeling slightly befuddled. Did the room get darker then usual? She narrowed her eyes a little as if trying to see what had caused it. But when Zane spoke up about it being weird, she couldn't help but notice his uncomfortable expression and the way he seemed to move. As if looking for something. Lily slowly looked around but saw nothing. "Right.." She murmured more to herself then Zane. She shakes herself out of it and turned to go out the room. She heads down the hall, turns a corner, and descended the steps. Taking a detour, she headed around where the residents would likely be gathered in order to keep them safe.

Though as she went to pass by the ballroom, she noticed Adelaide seeming to come into the hallway leading from the room. Quickly she went up to the woman hurriedly. "Adelaide, you need to come with the rest of the residents. It's not safe yet. Let's go." Lily couldn't bare to leave any of the members straggling around. That included Elias, and Temin. She knew the werebear was injured based from his earlier roar of anger. While he and Temin were outside fighting, the least she could do was ensure all non-combative members were safe. Even if a few might be undying immortals..
