Quite the mess

Taking a much-needed break for herself, Nefertari made sure to secure her pager encase she needed to return to the Medical Ward for any emergency. Several things flooded through her mind and yet they did so with a purpose. As she passed down the halls, the Elder greeted and calmed what residents she could while also requesting that several of the healers that had a chance to rest and seemed of able body to return back to the Medical Ward. The hecticness of the ward had died down for now, but she was sure that soon, family and loved ones of the injured would desperately want to time with them. Somebody would have to keep visiting hours in some kind of order while the Doctor was away.

Yet as she passed down the halls and towards the kitchen, Nefertari couldn't help but think of the list she had built in her head. Firstly, she had to seek out the Head of the Shade Keepers. While many of the dutiful protectors had been saved, more or less, they had definitely suffered in their casualties and it would only be right to inform them of how many in number the Keepers had dwindled as well as whom they had lost.

Secondly, Nefertari wished to seek out whoever had the skills in making several healing oils or any more medicines and painkillers at the moment. With the attack went whatever medicines they possessed and she was sure that to stop the cycle of weak to almost non-existent supply of healers on the medical staff, they would need more potent salves, oils, and injections.

Lastly, the one thing that the Elder was loathed to do at the moment, Nefertari had to write her official report for Lady Noir as it was one of her many jobs as an Elder. Yet like normal, the immortal was more into giving her reports in a personal manner and over tea and sweets. She figured that it helped brighten up the dull news and boring acquisition request but especially, it would more or less help with the ill news of the number of deaths that had occurred. Lady Noir was still so very new at her job as Head of the House and yet she did well at carrying such a burden but it was still a burden nonetheless.

Nefertari had seen the strain and faint wisps of veins that came with the usual cycle of a Phoenix's expended life force. At least she would be re-born a new.

Yet in this very moment, what the Elder sought out more than anything, was a good pot of tea, preferably Shai Koshary. Already, she could taste the several spoonfuls of sugar, milk and a pinch of cinnamon that accompanied her usual cup. Following her nose to the scent of burning candies and general smell of smoke, Nefertari had a sneaking suspicion that she would not be alone in the kitchen and had a good idea on whom it could be. Shantellias never had a good hand at the kitchen and when she entered, she was not too surprised to see the loveable prankster laughing at her own mistakes and making a huge mess while doing so, with a resident she had not met just yet.

"I hope I am not interrupting your messy fun Shay-Shay," The Elder found herself teasing, a warm smile upon her face. Idly she side-stepped over a cracked egg and tried to move out of the way of a puff of flour. When had candies required eggs and flour? Maybe she was making a cake or pie of some sort?

"I am just looking for some tea and maybe a good snack, actually. I don't think I've eaten for a while,"

The amount of pain she felt only worsened from there. Where the white veins were it felt like white hot fire. Granted, she was immune to fire to begin with. But this type of pain was on a whole new level. After Elias spoke, she nodded in thanks. Looking over to Zane and nodding to him as well. Meeting up at the grand lodge would be a good idea. Adelaide would be looked after with both men watching over her. And as Zane had mentioned, she could join back up with them shortly. Deeply appreciating their help. Assuming the process didn't sap whatever energy she might have left, then she would join up later.

Lily quickly excuses herself and encourages Adelaide to accompany both men while she gave a final glance to the three of them before turning to head to the bottom level. There was an isolated chamber towards the north wing of the layout. It was mostly stone, but only the kind that could withstand phoenix fire. But even then this type of stone would, at some point, require repair. Thankfully though, the mansion seemed to repair itself. How? She didn't know. The mansion itself seemed to be built out of some strange material that self-repaired on it's own accord. It had been this way since she could remember.
