Alone was my heart
And it forgot
How it feels
To rapidly beat

Dealing with my own pain
Learning how to see the world again
When he came
And everything changed
I spent days
Talking to him,
Days became weeks
Weeks became months—
Oh, how I forgot
How good it was
To be in love
