Anne Shirley is arriving in Avonlea today. As she switches off from looking out the window of the airplane to reading her book. She wonders what her new life is going to be like. Is she going to go to a nice school? Will she have a big house? Will she meet new friends? Will she meet someone?
All of these thoughts went through her mind the whole time. Since Avonlea is so small too there is no airport there so they had to drive an extra 30 minutes to get to their house. Once there Anne looked out the window of her car to see a beautiful two story house with flowers and trees and bushes all around. There was a tiny garden on the side of the house with lots of different vegetables. There were event some flowers in there too. It was the house of Anne's dreams!
In a far distance Anne could see a beautiful forest with tons of trees and vines. In the opposite direction she could see land that seemed as if it could stretch out for miles.
"There is so much scope for the imagination!" Anne said excitedly taking in a deep breath as the cool breeze hit her face soft and delicately.
" You can let your heart out as soon as you've finished unpacking all of your stuff." Said Anne's mom Bertha.
Anne looked just like her mom with a little bit of her dad. Both Anne and her mom had auburn hair. Her dad, Walter had dark brown hair. But other than that they all looked identical.
When Anne stepped into her house all she could do was gasp.
"We picked it out just for you." Said Walter bringing in his luggage.
As soon as you walk in there is a beautiful living room with carpeting and a giant fireplace. The couches were black leather and very comfortable. Past the living room was a huge kitchen with tile flooring and an island in the middle, an electric stove, and a silver fridge. In the corner of the second floor was an office which an knew was for her dad so she didn't really pay attention to it. Against one of the walls was a carpeted staircase with little bits of designs along the railing. Upstairs was about 3 bedrooms and 1 half bathroom.
"You can pick any room you would like." Said a surprisingly calm Bertha. Anne made a small squeal and ran into every bedroom to inspect them for the perfect one. The bedroom she picked had a walk-in closet, big bathroom, and most of all a large bay window that had a view of the forest and yet another garden right below. The room was painted white with little pastel flowers all around the room. She had a queen sized bed right on the back center of the room that a light green and foresty feel to it. Anne was in love. She unpacked as quick as she could to go outside and lay in the fields. She felt completely relaxed and comfortable in that moment. Until one thing came into her mind;
"I HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW!!"
