Anne woke up the morning after Gilbert and Anne has their secret date. Even though she wouldn't admit to herself; deep down she was actually kind of sad that she didn't get to fully watch the movie with Gilbert.
"Anne wake up!" Bertha called down from the kitchen. Anne slowly got out of bed, leaving her pjs on being too lazy to get changed. She was wearing her baggy sweatpants, sports bra, and crop top.
"Go get dressed right now." Bertha said quickly.
"Why?" Anne whined.
"Because I invited the Blythes over for breakfast." Anne finally looked around to see plates and cups laid out on the table behind her. She slowly stood up and walked back upstairs to get ready.

Anne decided on wearing black high waisted jeans with fishnets underneath and a dark green, long sleeved crop top, and some black converse. She then put her hair up in a messy bun and was satisfied.

She walked back downstairs just as the Blythes arrived. Of course Gilbert spotted her right away and  did a small smirk. Anne saw him do this and just rolled her eyes. When she got into the kitchen, she saw giant plates filled with pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, sausages, almost any breakfast type food you could think of it was there.
"Why can't you give me this in the morning?" Anne said a little jealous.
"Because they are guests and you are almost 17, you can make your own breakfast on school days. If they weren't here you would not be eating any of this." Bertha said calmly. Gilbert snickered a little at Anne and her moms argument. Anne once again rolled her eyes at him.

The Blythes ended up staying for more than breakfast. More like the entire day. But everyone was having a blast.
"Who wants to go outside to watch the sunset?" Walter said looking outside the window. Everyone scrambled out of where they were sitting and ran outside to sit in the field. Anne, surprisingly, was the last one to walk outside. She sat down on the porch wrapping her arms around her legs. Gilbert saw her and sat right next to her. Anne was silent. After a while she finally spoke.
"Hey?" She said in a silent tone.
"Ya?" Gilbert said in the same tone.
"Promise me we will always have good times like these. Promise me that you will always be one of my kindred spirits."
"Yes."
"PROMISE?"
"Promise." He said quietly.
"Cross your heart." He did so. Anne looked forward again and rested her head on Gilbert's shoulder. Gilbert rested his head on hers. And so they sat like that until there was no more sun in the sky and all there was left was the stars and bright moon. Gilbert felt as if he could sit there for hours. And secretly; so did Anne.
