The Plane Ride

We were on the way to the airport; I was staring into space until cloud broke me out of it.

  "Hey, I'm sorry you have to go and I'm sorry I can't go with you but, I have to stay here and help dad take care of mom." Cloud says and I frown.

  "I just didn't even get to say goodbye; I don't even know if I'll ever see her again." I say as I have tears rolling down the sides of my face, "Well just tell her I said bye and that I love her."

  " That doesn't sound too pleasant for her, but I'll tell her you said you love her, yes. Just know I'm always a phone call away, even though we're not going to be together we'll get through this together, I promise." He says hugging me. I get out of the car grab my suitcases and head for the security.

"Flight 240 boarding now!" The random flight lady says. Omg finally I get to see thee One Direction, the boys I've been dreaming about meeting for 3 years. The five sexy boys I fell in love with and it turns out that one of them is my cousin. I'm. Going. To. Flip.

About an hour into the flight I started crying just thinking about everything going on. "Hey, don't cry you are way too pretty to be crying" she sounded as if she was around four.

"Aw thank you sweetie." I chuckle and wipe my tears.

"What's your name?" She asks sweetly.

"My name is Rain, what's yours?"

"Stormie." She answered

"Aw what a cute name. Why're you headed all the way out here?" I asked her.

"My dad lives out here and my mom's making us go visit him." I saw the girl who looked about 12 sitting next to her.

"Oh hey, what's your name?"

"My names Rainie." She says not taking her eyes off of her phone.

"Oh, that's really cool, that's what people call me sometimes!"

"Cool" she responded sounding very uninterested.

After a while I really had to pee so, I got up and went to the bathroom but, on my way there a kid looking about 14 smacked my butt so, I smacked his head. Payback. When I finally get back in my seat, I take my phone out and start reading fanfics. In this one Louis is my bully well, all the boys are but, one time they take it way too far I ran away crying then, Louis comes up to me and says, 'the only way I treat you like that is because I love you.'

"Hey is that a fanfiction?" I look over and see Rainie looking at me.

"Yeah it is. Do you read them?"

"Well of course I do, mostly Louis. What about you?" She says now leaning over her sisters' seat.

"Yeah I read them all the time, Louis is definitely my favorite" I say hesitantly cause some fans are kind of crazy.

"Oh my gosh! SISTER WIVES!" She screams and a flight attendant shushes her.

"I can't wait to get off this dumb plane." I groan, "but what're you doing when you get off the plane?"

  "Going to see my dad sadly. He's never around or anything so I don't understand why we have to go." She says shrugging, "it's dumb if you ask me. How about you though?"

"Well I'm definitely going to go skating, I've gone too long without it and I'm going to go visit my cousin."

"Oh well what's their name." She says. "Uh, it's Liam" I say not wanting to lie because I don't do that.

"Payne? Oh, my g- how did I not even see this? You're Rain Vaughns! I literally follow you on everything, I knew you looked familiar. Wow dude so how is it; you know all the boys then? Are they amazing ?"

"No actually, I barely even met Liam, it's been so long that I didn't even remember that he was my cousin."

"So, how'd you find out again?" She says giggling.

"My mom is sick and she doesn't want me to be around her while she is so, she is sending me to him."

  "Oh, very interesting." She said and went back to her fanfiction and after that at some point I fell asleep.

"Hey Rain, wake up." Stormie says shaking me.

"Okay I'm up"

"we're here." When I get out of the plane, I look around for Liam but, all I got was a sign that says 'Rain Vaughns'.

  "Hello." I say awkwardly.

"Are you Rain?" He asks.

"Uh yeah." I say and then he ushers me to follow him out to a black SUV. After about a half an hour of awkward silence we finally arrived to Liam's house. The driver guy runs around to my side of the car and opens my door, "Thank you so much!" I walk up to the door and knock and Liam answers it.

"Oh my gosh, Rain I missed you so much!" He says hugging me, "I'm so sorry about Aunt Peggy."

"I mean, it's not alright but also it's alright."

"You can come in." Liam says laughing.
