After waking up way past your alarm, grabbing a granola bar, and practically falling out of your front door, you got in your car and quickly made your way to school. You couldn't believe you accidentally slept in on the day you had to perform the scene with Robbie. You threw your car in park and started briskly walking towards the school. After you stepped in, you were finally able to take a breather. That's when it hit you—the sinking feeling of nervousness that felt like it was weighing down your entire body. You were about to have to perform the scene, with the kiss, with Robbie, in front of the entire class. You tried not to think about it too much as you walked into Sikowitz' class.
Robbie turned towards the door in his seat and smiled at you. You walked over and sat down next to him, and luckily you were just in time.
"Hey y/n, ready to do the scene?" Robbie asked.
"Yeah, but I am a little nervous" you admitted.
"Aw don't be, you're great at acting and I know you'll do fine!" Robbie replied with an encouraging smile and a pat on the head.
You didn't know why he pat you on the head, but you weren't complaining.
"Alright class" started Sikowitz, "lets get this over with as quickly as possible. I have a very important shipment of coconuts coming in today that I have to pick up."
Much to your relief, a few other groups performed their scenes before it was your turn.
"Very interesting take on the scene Andre and Tori. Next up... Robbie and y/n" said Sikowitz.
Your heart dropped but you tried to stay as calm as possible as you made your way to the stage. Robbie gently sat Rex in his now vacant seat before joining you. The scene started and everything was going fine until you came to the kiss. You didn't even have much time to panic though, as Robbie pulled you into a kiss once again. Your heart was beating just as fast as it did the day before, and your cheeks were starting to burn. You hoped no one would notice how much you were blushing. The kiss ended along with the scene.
Sikowitz started clapping along with the rest of the class. "Amazingly done Robbie and y/n. The kiss was so realistic, its almost like you two may actually like each other." He said grinning.
You cast your gaze down and went back to your seat.
"C'mon Sikowitz..." Robbie said, slightly embarrassed.
The rest of class went on and you started feeling a lot better knowing you had gotten the scene over with. When class ended and everyone started to leave, Robbie waited for you once again.
"You did really great on the scene y/n" he said as you walked through the hall. "And don't worry about Sikowitz, he says crazy stuff all the time."
"You did a really great job too" you replied smiling at him.
"So me and the gang are gonna get sushi at Nozu after school. Wanna come with?" Robbie asked.
"Yeah I'd love to!" You replied.
"You're really hanging out with y/n AGAIN?" Rex snapped. "I thought we were gonna play video games after school."
"We can play video games another time Rex" Robbie hissed back. "Sorry y/n, he can be kind of a jerk sometimes."
"Oh its totally fine!" Was all you could say back as you reached the courtyard for lunch.
As the rest of the day went by all you could think about was Robbie and how much, although it was hard for you to admit, you liked him. You smiled at the thought of how encouraging he was when he knew you were nervous. You couldn't wait to hang out with him and the rest of his friends at Nozu.
